I think everyone here is forgetting something important: when scoring a Canelo fight, jabs do not count. It has been brought up here many times when talking about why Canelo was the deserved winner of a fight- you don't win fights by jabbing (at least in Canelo fights).

Now, keep that in mind and go back and watch the fight. The scorecards will make more sense.

He's playing his cards right. Let Canelo think he did well. I predicted the fight to a tee the first time . And I'm going to predict the rematch to a tee this time. Instead of winning 12 rounds clearly like he did last time, this time , not only will be torture Canelo every round, the ref will mercifully end the match in the 9th round this time. You want to see my last fight prediction ? Go to YouTube and the Abel Sanchez prediction video on the fight . His video was a month ago. Just type in " Abel Sanchez Bivol prediction" it should come up. I'm " Bonzo " in the " comments " section . Ask me any questions there and I'll respond to prove its me. Whatever you do, when your looking for predictions, don't look for any by fighters , current or ex, trainers current or ex. Nobody is more ****** making predictions that these people. And they sway bookies too. All bookies had Canelo 5-1 . After the fight , everyone of these bookies, ex trainers , current trainers , ex fighter , current fighters say " oh Canelo is a super middleweight ". Get out of here . Then why your ****** predictions ? Before the fight when asked why their prediction was Canelo winning , they would say " oh Canelo TOO STRONG "...After the fight they say why Canelo lost " Oh he's not a LH , too small , not strong enough , he's a super middleweight " ...lol . Enough is enough . These guys don't have a clue about the exact sport they are in. Why can a guy like myself , who's only watched boxing for 53 years , watch a few videos of the 2 combatants, and nail the result to a tee? Overrated ? These people , " experts " in the fans eyes, making predictions on this fight , should be ashamed of themselves. Canelo , maybe the biggest fraud in boxing, all-time.
I said pretty much the same. Alvarez was outclassed completely. Never looked like winning for even a single moment. I actually was expecting more, as I hadn't watched him since the Golovkin thefts, but had been reading great things about him.

This fight very definitively showed him as an average fighter with limited skills, but a good chin.. Perhaps in future the bought-and paid-for judges who helped him to his undeserved fame, will turn honest, and score correctly. I scored it 10-2 for Bivol, who won 3 of the first 4 rounds that all judges gave....literally GAVE, to Alvarez.

          No more Adelaide Byrdites..

Everybody talking about canelo looked bad looked average but why take Bivol the credit he deserves by making Canelo look like this and that, and why not talk about how small Canelo is for the 175 beasts? At least he try unlike others boxers that stay on the same division 5-6-7 years or their whole careers

If you score a fight the way it's supposed to be scored , Canelo never won a round. Points are awarded for punches "connected " to the head, and body . Also taken into consideration for scoring is " ring generalship" and " effective aggression ". There are no points or consideration given for missed shots hitting air, shots that hit gloves, elbows, arms and hips. If you go by rules, Canelo never won a round. He rarely connected to the head or body at all. Very very rarely . And whenever he did connect, Bivol returned firing 6 punch salvo's . Bivol topped everything Canelo did. Every round. As I've stated many times, with no exaggeration, Bivols face looked better after the fight than it did before the fight. Ring generalship ? Canelo looked like an unranked amateur in the fight. Bivol controlled that ring maybe better than any fighter I seen control a fight, round after round after round. He just did whatever he wanted, how he wanted and when he wanted from round 1 to round 12. This fight was a one sided beating. I'm telling all you Canelo fans, next time is going to be shocking for all of you. It's going to be a frightful beating . The fight won't go 12. Bivol is going to land bombs in the next fight . Take that to the bank.

Canelo's biggest nightmare would be to fight at anything below 175. All Bivol has to do to make 168 is to take a nice big hot steamy dump . In boxing circles, and even public knowledge if u dig around, it's quite well known that Bivol can EASILY make 168. The one who has the difficulty is Canelo Alvarez. He struggles really bad to make that 168. That's why he was going after the Light Heavies for quite some time now. Kovalev's title for one. Then you heard the rumbles right out of Canelo's mouth that he wanted that 190lb Cruiser champ. The Nigerian guy. Can't remember which organization. Then you heard in the week leading up to the fight, right from Hearn's mouth that Canelo's camp had contacted him about seeing if Usyk would come to 201lbs . Why ? Because Canelo feels stronger and better at 175 and above. Did Canelo look fat at 175 ? No, he was shredded. Listen, everyone on planet earth thought Canelo was strong as an ox at 175 . Including the bookies, who had him at as a huge 5-1 favourite. Contrary to popular belief , Canelo will be smaller and weaker against Bivol at anything under 175 . Bivol won't lose anything by dropping to 168-170. Nothing. In fact , I'm hoping the fight is contracted at 168. This way Canelo gets knocked out and Bivol scoops up all that's left of Saul " the fraud " Alvarez's legacy, those 3 or 4 super middleweight belts. There would be nothing better for the state of boxing is to have him out of the sport. And at the same time , hopefully that crew of judges leave with him too.

8-4 sounds about right. In the rematch, canelo might quit on his stool by the 8th round.
