Because JMM accepted the $600k. Just sayin..

That was after a long layoff. I’m sure he wasn’t working out and dieting as always. You don’t think this was an anomaly?

I find it weird, Floyd knows how to cut weight right ? He competed in the lower divisions. Aren't those MMA meatheads cuthead 20-30lbs per fight ?

Personally i think he just didnt want to go through the trouble of getting the weight off. If JMM had turned down the money, Floyd would have just payed the penalty IMHO.

However, Floyd wasnt big for a welter and was a super small Jr MW. Even small Jr MW usually come to the weigh-in at 154. Mosley and Hoya always did. Floyd came in at 150.

Ok. True but As the cash cow he had another option that others didn’t- offering a staggering amount to change the weight.

The fact Floyd never signed the 144 contract was a sign he had no intention of making that weight.

I only wanted floyd to fight GGG as Floyd wasnt even fighting the best in his own division and was messing about with who he should fight next khan and maidana polls?
But to be frank i dont think floyd is that good and would put him as underdog against GGG. Im sure many thought JMM would beat FLoyd also, because many dont think Floyd is that great. It was still a cherry pick from floyd though.
Im sure many thought THurman, Brook, Bradley, Spence would beat floyd, even though floyd was of course favourite. So if floyd beat them, he would be better than they thought FLoyd was and give him credit. But beating them still dont make floyd great, its just people would admit they overated them and underestimated floyd.

Why did you have no issue when GGG refused to move up and face Andre Ward ? He used Andre's name numerous times to promote himself yet when Andre called him out all we got were crickets ?

Mayweather ducked Margs, and also Martinez.

but the ducking was probably due to higher paying fights elsewhere with lower risk

How about just telling your boy to back up what he said. GGG was willing to come down to 154:

Floyd (Mayweather) is great champion and biggest challenge," stated GGG to ESNews. "I understand he's smart guy and good fighter. I respect his boxing style and his business. He's a very good fighter. I go to 154 just for Floyd."

But I don't know your boy talked a good game:

"He's straight up and down with no special effects."

....but when it was put up or shut up time somebody didn't eat their wheaties:

"I can't make 160 pounds...I can barely make 147. If I could go up to 155 pounds, I would beat him (GGG)...that's easy work,"

A whole division of welterweights and Floyd playing a side games with a lightweight

Just face it man. Floyds ww jmw run was garbage. A lot of posturing but it was excuse city.

Far more respect for the previous guys who when at the top didn't drag out fighting the best guys and ducked the division the way Floyd did.

No it was cherrypicking a lightweight. Call it what it really is
