That would be going up 30 lbs from where he started. Other than fighters who are completely irresponsible in between fights (Duran, Broner few others) how many guys have gone up that much?

How would him doing that have changed where he is to you in terms of the history of the sport?

Now if there was a significant monetary fight I’m sure he’d have done it. I think odh, Cotto and canelo big money fights are the only reasons he went to 154.

He realized he couldn’t go higher on his own terms, not by the sport telling him.

That isn’t a 100% reasonable, rational decision to you?

mayweather was like 150-151 on fight night. They want him to go up to 160 where guys will be 180+ on fight night. He was 36 years old taking on a young buck future superstar with 15 pounds on him in Canelo and people were still complaining.

Weight wise he was a small welterweight. Some people will never be happy. These are the same guys who 10 years ago kept saying every fight mayweather would lose and when he won again and again would have some excuse.

Nobody thought Floyd would ever go up to 160 but of course suggested he should to show how good he was as people thought Floyd was overrated still and àlways thought Floyd gave them a reason to criticise, from cherry picking, ducking, home advantage etc etc.. Floyd didn't like fighting the best in his own division, so instead of fighting, thurman, spence, bradley, brook, get all the credit from one massive fight with ggg. One win over Ggg would be equal to 4 wins over those 4 WWs that Floyd ducked.a

But also asking Floyd to go to 160 is not asking him to do anything that's not been done before. So what if Floyd walks around at 151, but that makes you wonder why he couldn't make 143 for jmm? You need to put more weight on scientificaly then. Your supposed to disadvantage yourself that's the whole point of it. Big risk, big reward. he's the best of era wannabe isn't he, TBE isn't he so show us! Don't you think RJJ weighed more than his natural walk around weight when he fought ruiz? Didn't pac weigh 38lbs more at 150lb?

Floyd beat a past prime cotto?...now tell me what the hell was cotto when canelo fought him 4 years later?

                The hypocrisy.....

Good post. This kind of garbage happens every time a top guy loses where Floyd didn’t.

Lie about Floyd not taking risks. Over exaggerate the risk the loser took. Then start posting about how every guy Floyd didn’t fight was a duck. Then create a “fantasy fight loss” scenario where the guys that he didn’t fight would’ve defeated him. Then act like only those fights would’ve defined his legacy as opposed to the ATGS and HOFERS he did beat.

Floyd not losing has driven some people absolutely crazy. They’re so emotionally scarred by him winning.

Notice It’s the really ****** pac cum gurgling stans and the race baiting Canelo dirtbags that do this. They’re so hurt that Floyd dominated Manny and Canelo so easily.

How hard is it just to say “I was wrong” and move on?

Same thing is happening to Canelo now.

Sad indictment of the posters on this site.

Stop all the bs. Just post you wanted him to move up because you thought he’d lose. Same as the post you deleted.

Soon as Floyd won, you’d lie about asking he fight said guy them claim something was wrong.

You’re a scummy Pac nut gobbling f@g that just can’t admit you were wrong.

Why did May come into the marquez weigh in 146 when the contract was 144 ? 150-151 is BS.
