Again, Dmitry Bivol wouldn't even be one of the top 20 risks may weather took in his career
Mayweather would have NEVER taken such a risk

GGG the reward would have been there but the real fact is the risk would have been just as high and we know Floyd is low to no risk. Floyd did the smart thing talk s$$t from a safe distance
Its funny how all of a sudden Floyd is this high risk fighter that would have "schooled" all these fighters he had a chance to fight but managed to avoidLast edited by djtmal; 05-16-2022, 08:15 PM.Comment

Well bivel like guys Floyd ducked Margarito Williams and Khan and those were guys in his own division.

I do not like Floyd may weather and think the man is a complete narcissist and a scumbag.
As a boxer, he is the best this generation has seen. BY FAR.
I really think Floyd was just such a narcissist that he HATED giving the media anything they wanted. So if they asked for GGG he'd make an excuse just to stick it to them. Even though I believe he would have beat GGG with ease.
Nobody asked for Berto or Mayfield. But those were the 2 he was considering for his last fight.
Floyd does what Floyd wants but at the end of the day his resume is 1000 times better than canelo.
The truth is, anybody who is the best at anything is a complete ******* and narcissist. You have to be a killer to be the best.
That's the truth in sports, business, life.Last edited by TernceBudCharlo; 05-16-2022, 08:17 PM.Comment

You need to separate Floyd the person from his skills as a boxer.

So if we all waiting for Jordan vs. Magic in the finals wtf Jordan gonna do go off and do his own thing and say no he gonna play Bird and the Celtics because he don't like something the media said like a little kid who wanna take his ball and go home. Whatever.
Well its cool you feel that way.
I don't I respect Floyds resume up to Hatton. After that its cherrypicks to the final fight. Pre prime Canelo was ok but the rest was low to no risk for the highest reward. I don't respect that. I have more respect for the guy who challenges himself to see how far his skillset can take him and never takes his foot off the gas. Like Canelo just did. Like Oscar when he went up and challenged Hopkins.. A fully shopworn Manny taking on Ugas. Like Roy climbing up to heavyweight. Legacy stuff.. Floyd was cool with playing it safe, being on the shoulder of the road, cherrypicking good but shopworn guys or guys who flat out couldn't beat him on his worst night. If that's what you do thats what you do but don't dupe the public into this notion that you the best fighter naw you the best money making cherrypicker.
I questioned Roy Jones the same way and he came back down and fought Tarver a guy who was long rangy stylewise all wrong for him and he dug deep and gutted out a win on empty. I can respect that. Floyd lulled you cats into a warped sense of reality he cherrypicked so much.Last edited by djtmal; 05-16-2022, 09:07 PM.Comment

If we’re being real, Thurman will only be used as a stepping stone for Boots because that’s what benefits pbc. The most realistic big fight for Benn to make is with Vergil Ortiz because it can easily done with Hearn, golden boy and dazn. But since Hearn wants to keep the perception going that Benn is a future star, he won’t make that type of fight anytime soon. Expect a Benn vs Victor Ortiz type of fight instead.
Boots is not even part of PBC he is managed by Cameron Duncan and has a deal with Showtime so he fights on PBC cards. You are right there is no need to debate with you. You only see what you want to see and have closed your mind off to logic. You will probably list Manny as greater than Floyd when Floyd boxed his ears off. Let me guess ? Manny was shop worn, Manny had an injured shoulder., Floyd waited for Manny to get old. think about that for a minute Floyd is older than Manny...You are a hating excuse maker. He fought numerous champs in their prime. He has obviously hurt you emotionally and all you can do is post things about he didn't fight anyone when he beat everyone he was in the ring with. You have absolutely no logic.Comment
