This is not completely it.You don’t get favored to win if you don’t have a certain set of skills to achieve victory.

Ali and Floyd have never been the most popular but have been favored in fights because they are that good. Despite being that good, there are fights where they have been underdogs.

While I completely get your point about popularity, Teo wasn’t more popular than Loma, Floyd wasn’t more popular than Manny.

With Bivol v Canelo, many boxing media experts picked Canelo to win. Very few picked Bivol.

This was a massive upset not just because of the odds.

Shut the fuck up f@gg0t. You’ve been told this for years yet based winning on whose nutsack you were washing with your mouth. When proven wrong you double down on cum gurgling.

Actually, Money May has been there and done that. As a matter of fact, he has taken five of those risks and gambles throughout his career and they have all paid off.

Remember that he started his career at one 130 and managed to win titles in five different weight classes against all naturally larger and stronger opponents; Which is something that Canelo has failed to do.

You should have listened to me. I told you an predicted clearly Bivol to win, but you laughed.

I don`t have to read boxing "experts" to know something about boxing. How was blown up middleweight seen as favorite fighting unbeaten light heavy is beyond me.

Shouldve rephrased the post. Its not about Floyd would never take the risk. He moved up a few weight classes and fought and won. What Floyd wouldnt have done is move up to a huge weightclass as Saul had done. Floyd constantly stayed at his fighting weight. Saul has ALWAYS been a BIG mofo. His fans used to cry "he's not a middleweight" while coming into fight nights 20 and almost 30lbs more than his opps when he was fighting at '54, i mean '55, i mean '64.......you know, his caneloweights.....

And no, not a fan of either of em.

I didn’t say famous, I said popular. 2 very different things. Both were polarizing so half liked them and half despised them. They just expert pimped those that hated them.

154 was a huge weight class for Floyd. Come on man. Now if you’re point is maybe he could’ve done MW, ok.
