1) You rush to defend MMA at every step
2) That shlt is not my taste.
Why would me rushing to defend MMA at every step mean I dont like both sports? it isnt boxing being shat on is it?
Believe it or not ive had plenty of arguments with MMA fans in the past when ive heard the "boxing is dead" "boxing is not a fight" etc type ****. You dont see much boxing hate on MMA forums anymore though.
As for the kicking/rolling on the ground thing, eh fair enough.

Maybe I'm reading into it wrong, but it seems like you are picking that 1x20 instance to use as a reason why a boxer would be doomed vs a guy who kicks.
Yes, a kick to the head, while rare when a person isn't hurt or drunk, would be devastating. More so than a punch.
I picture women kicking and rolling around during fights, not men. It seems to have an audience.

Its more the low kicks than the head kicks, because they're almost entirely undefendable for a pure boxer.

I mean...wrestling is one of the oldest olympic sports, and kicking is a staple of martial arts. I cant say ive witness any women using kickboxing/muay thai and BJJ/wrestling techniques in a fight outside of actual MMA. I'd be quite impressed if I did tbh. Its like me seeing some drunken chick throw the ****tiest haymaker ever and then being like "thats boxing"
There are a lot of guys out there that would lose to Anderson Silva, not just JCC Jr.
Silva has 4 pro boxing fights on his record to go with the 46 pro MMA fights, the lifetime of Muay Thai and Taekwondo training, and 1 pro Muay Thay fight. Silva also trained and sparred only boxing for over two years after his gruesome leg injury, even when he was back in camp for MMA fights, because he didn't trust the leg in kickboxing or MMA sparring.
Silva would be favored against Jake Paul, more than likely.
As bad as I hate to agree because I'm by no means a fan of MMAbut you have alot of logic in this post. When Sylva was on his game in the octagon he was dangerous with his hands. If I'm not mistaken he has a knockout victory from flat of his back and that's true punching power.

I saw 2 chicks fighting one time and witnessed the coolest knees to the face I've ever seen Male or female. Chic was ruthless but for the most part that's not how it plays out.
Masvidal needs to stay away from Jake "the Great" Paul. Jake is a world champion boxer. he carries his belt to the ring. I don't know who it won it against, but Nash certainly respects it. Tommy Mae Fumbles stepped up, then the fight got close and the reality of what was coming kicked in, and he pulled out.
Then Big John Fury lost in a stare down to Little Carl Frampton. Both think they are great cos they have the same last name as Tyson Fury. John Fury asked Frampton "Jake Paul, beat a Fury?" I'll answer for you, John. Tyson or Hughie, no, he gets destroyed, you and Tommy Mae Fumbles, of course, he makes mincemeat out of you both and sells you as burgers. Nash out.
Straight boxing in general is a very difficult sport to become decent. Not much room to move around without being cornered and the ring pretty much forces you to engage.
Paul is only getting better at boxing even if it marginally and a lot of these MMA fighters are regressing in part due to their age. if you are like 15% better as a boxer than someone else then you can likely stop them in the later rounds if you can reserve your gas tank.

Does he carry his corner mans belt or something? His opponents have had a combined total of 1 fight and he carries a belt to the ring?. I believe that Floyd will teach him right and make him dig in the gym, to make him hard, so that he is fully prepared for his opponents. You can't rush experience doe. It will be many years before Paul wins any titles in the sport of boxing, if any.
Floyd knows this game inside and out. But most of all he knows how to make money in this sport ..............Rockin'
