If Whyte bottles it, it’s highly likely be Helenius unfortunately. Kabayel is a guy hanging around in the WBC top 10 too.

Gatekeeper Whyte won't be able to fight anyone like always.. He missed big Fury payday and Usyk fight will be cancelled.

          My imagination

no, really, I had heard it had been talked about. I know someone in the boxing media and they get some inside info. Some has been true, some has been way off. So I’ve never claimed anything I say is the absolute truth. But it’s fun to put it out, if only for conversation.

It’s just something that was speculated and supposedly discussed.

personally I don’t think Whyte v Usyk happens. But it’s a bit odd that Whyte hasn’t signed for Fury with the deadline tomorrow, it’s nearly March and still no word on AJ v Usyk. Now reports coming Hearn has offered Whyte a big money fight. If Whyte is wanting a title shot and money, then there’s only one other champ apart from Fury, so he could be tempted by that.

it works well for AJ if he wants time with a new trainer and Whyte if he wants a title shot, but I don’t quite see why Usyk’s team would be on board with it but who knows.

What does this do for Usyk exactly?

I’ve heard Whyte essentially has three options:
              - Fury on BT
              - Parker on DAZN
              -Wallin on Sky.
Maybe this story about Eddie trying to tempt Whyte with a big fight is a way to keep him
              on DAZN

apparently Shalom from sky was doing some representation for Whyte during the purse bids, which could be a sign Whyte could head to Sky after the Fury fight on BT.

factor in that AJ could still fight on Sky, then Eddie would lose his two biggest British draws to Sky, both heavyweights. Well AJ always has been Sky anyway.

so maybe it’s some Hail Mary attempt from
Hearn to get Whyte to stick with DAZN by offering him some ridiculous money.

I think DAZN UK is floundering a bit, they lost their BT deal which means no football etc. their biggest UK boxer is probably Whyte and he seems to be working with this Shalom guy from Boxxer in the background, Whyte is a free agent anyway . If AJ sticks with Sky, I think DAZN UK is going to be treading water.

Where does this news cone from?
eddie hasnt said it, usyks side havent, nor has whyte.
                Bs.

I expect whyte is going through wbc arbitrarion and doesnt care about the purse bid. Personally i think he should have taken this deal. Whyte has zero chance against usyk. That guy is too fast. Fury is at least chinny and can be hit. Usyks been in with aj, joyce and chisora ..hes eaten their punches and wasnt bothered.

                  Thoughts?

Would Whyte still have to fight one of the three? Joshua, Fury or Usyk?
That would wreck Fury... He hates having to "reset" Im remembering his situation with David Haye. I guess he would get an easier fight, not sure if that is the best for him.

For Joshua its probably better. He shouldn't necessarily be running back to fight Usyk so soon.

For Usyk, well potentially could it come down to Joshua stepping aside and allowing him to fight Fury?

Just a lot of possible outcomes here lol.

It wouldn't surprise me. Is there still an arbitration scheduled? Unless I'm mistaken, the arbitration about the 80/20 split was scheduled after the purse bid and the deadline for the contract signature.

If Whyte is dead-set about the split issue, I could see him opting out for an alternative opponent.

Of course if Whyte isn't going to fight Fury, I'm not sure why Usyk wouldn't just try to fight Fury himself. I think the Ukrainian feels like he can defeat them all.

                      Who knows

but at the end of the day, the WBC can essentially set their own rules. If Whyte doesn’t sign by tomorrow, maybe they say he forfeited his mandatory position, then this arbitration regarding the split isn’t needed. As far as anyone knows, he still hasn’t signed and the deadline is tomorrow.

I still think we get Fury v Whyte and AJ v Usyk

just seems a bit odd that Whyte hasn’t signed with a deadline tomorrow and we’ve heard nothing about AJ fighting Usyk yet.
