What Will Wilder Do?

My god, some people here. lol. Wilder has nothing to prove and has a resume as good as AJ? ROFLMAO.
I wish Wilder all the best. He has heart and is a warrior... but a great heavyweight he is not. His career was carefully managed to fight people who would pose ZERO danger, and even those posed major threats at times.
Unfortunately now, that is also a big problem for him. If he fights anyone worth a damn, he will get KO'ed again... but he can't really keep on fighting bums either as no one is going to pay for it. His only hope is try and secure some big paydays and then retire with some dignity. Ruiz, Chisora, or Helenius... hope he gets a KO.... then cash out vs AJ or Usyk and retire.Comment

Fans rooting for their favorite figher and booing the opponent is part of the fun in Boxing. But that's all your demonstrating with this post. No substance. Fury beat Wilder in two of three fights and hit the deck 4 times hard in doing that. Wilder is Tyson Fury’s Joe Frazier, and that's a position that can only be held by another great fighter. Have some respect. This is multi-million dollar fighting being discussed, not a slave-labor fight sport for ******ed people where all you need to snag a title is a little bit of boxing, a dash of BJJ and a belly full of jizz.
This is some next level stuff.
You think Wilder turned around his career by landing a punch and then getting beaten up and knocked out?
His resume is nowhere near Joshua's or Fury's. And of course he dropped a belt to a non-titlist. It wasn't a unification.
That tells me he has plenty to prove. It also tells me that it may have been beyond him when he was 30, never mind his late 30s.
OK, that last part was unnecessary but I couldn't stop.Comment

I agree with this.
I've already been proven right with a lot of suggestions I've made about the top 3. Despite me liking Wilder, I didn't even like his chnaces in the first Fury fight, let alone the third.
I kinda starting to lean on Usyk taking out everyone, the only thing I completely didn't forsee is how good Usyk actually is.
I also think Joshua is a massive fraud. I've thought that from day 1. I think his resume is actually garbage too. I don't think any of his opponents, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Pulev, Martin, or Ruiz will go onto do anything signficant and will be known for their ranking and nothing more. I give it about three years and then we'll finally have people saying that his resume wasn't any better than Wilder in the end anyway.
But then maybe I'm just biased, other than Joyce and Taylor, I think a most British fighters are frauds. Fury, despite his talent, included.Comment

Well there's a confident opinion. Let's test it. Let's take the best of Joshua's resume and throw him in with the best of Wilder's. Who's going to represent A.J.? Gary Cornish didn't pan out beyond domestic level. Dominic Breazeale and Eric Molina were common opponents. Wladimir Klitchko was middle aged in a one-off comeback, Carlos Takam was the same level as Johann Duhaupas (respectable fringe contenders from France), Povetkin was 39 with 28 years of fights on his meter, Dillian Whyte was a 16 fight vet and learning, Parker hasn't stepped up to impress to this day and Pulev was done, a Klitschko era leftover. The only other contenders Joshua met beat him. So let's use the guy Joshua won his first plastic belt from, Charles Martin.
Representing Wilder's resume? Let's use Luis Ortiz.
Do you see where this is going?
Lol, its all just a spin.Comment

I agree. Generally not a fan of fighters overplaying their hand or extending their stay and running up the punishment meter, but if he's still got what got him there, there are several HUGE fights for him remaining. Really hoping that Joshua can redeem himself against the pesky party crasher Usyk and stop losing to fringe contenders that he's favored to beat long enough to meet a legacy making level opponent, the way Fury and Wilder have done by meeting each other. Wilder vs. Joshua would be AWESOME.Comment
