I can't help but think losing a king's ransom by listening to Haymon over DiBella might have changed his perspective there.

He didn't hesitate to go windmill Audley in Sheffield. But he's also an idiot who makes bad business decisions, so who knows.

Whyte is not ******. If he beats Fury ( I doubt lol) he will offer Fury a rematch or he will want to fight Joshua.

Fury and Joshua are bigger draw in UK than Wilder.

Yeah I don't get it myself. He was offered $7M for Whyte with a promise of a shot at AJ if he won. Of course those fights were to be made in U.K., and Wilder used that as his excuse for not wanting it. In hindsight, he likely beats Whyte, and had a better chance at beating AJ than he did Fury. I have to wonder if Wilder is permanently damaged from those Fury beatings now, if not physically then mentally/emotionally.

The only set back to that I see is if WBC makes Wilder a mandatory. WBC is in bed with PBC, so I have to wonder if they pull a fast one here.

As said, give it time. Just like people said Fury wouldn't lose weight and Usyk would be a dud at heavyweight.
I hear that. Although he actually found his best rounds after the 5th. If he starts using the straight right more often he can beat Usyk. Joyce on the other hand, I don't think has anything that beats Usyk. Again styles make fights.

Joyce does have a good resume , his best win outside DDD is probably Jennings . Takam was tough but miles on him gave Joyce a harder time and really made him work and Stiverne has been horrid for years but Joyce under Sanchez was the sharpest I’ve seen him . Is it better then A.Js prior to a title shot ? Yea probably even though A.J knocked out Whyte who still was more refined then DDD at that point .

It doesn’t really matter defending titles is far harder against top guys and unless someone defeats A.J ,Usyk or Fury in their 19th fight or before as it stands A.Js win over Klitschko in 19 fights is the best win ever imop as far as attaining it in so few fights and rounds , I think A.J only had 60 something rounds or so I’m not sure ?
AJs resume is superb for today's heavies. Could it be better? Of course. Has he looked poor recently? Yes. But nobody has beaten as many good boxers as AJ. As a whole, and on paper, on Fury comes close.

Yeah, going to the UK wasn't an issue for Wilder - until Wilder fighting on DAZN was an issue for Haymon. He had the exclusive deal with Fox - don't remember if it was being negotiated or already signed - in which Fox was told they would have first choice on his entire stable.

I can't believe how ****** Wilder was. Lou had a close relationship with Wilder and was clearly looking out for him.
