Whytes not a hired sparring partner for anyone last time he was he was in Klitschko camp watching Wilder get carried out of the ring for being a smart ass to Wlad and getting laid out .Comment

I think you’re right but I’m not sure that big fight is gonna come to fruition. I think 2022 may potentially be the end for both AJ and Wilder. When you’ve earned the kind of money they have it’s a lot more difficult to keep the desire to rebuild.Comment

What a bunch of delusional BS.At 36 and locked in solid as the 2nd best heavyweight of his 2015 - 2020 Generation, given Joshua's disappointing stumbles against two lower top 12 contenders; in one of the better divisions we've seen in recent decades, Wilder has nothing to prove. With that tremendous punching power and his unorthodox style (often mistaken for lack of skill by non-industry fans), he has options galore, shoud he opt to prolong his career, as most of them do.
Losses aside, a fight with Joshua remains one of the biggest fights in Boxing, and one of the most compelling, and if the B-side Brit, Dillian Whyte should not be disposed of too easily by Champion Fury, or even pull off the win; that would provide a near perfect opponent for Wilder. The Bronze bomber would be a prohibitive favorite in both of these fights (If not by the betting suckers, by reality) given his ability to deliver the parcel to everyone's chin, including Fury's; and the rather fragile nature of his two other UK opponents. Many fans hate hearing this, but the facts speak for themselves. Joshua and Whyte are easy work for Deontay Wilder. He ain't no Ruiz Jr., Usyk, inexperienced AJ or Middle Aged Povetkin, at all. He's death for chinny empire-Brits. Even near great ones if their chin is wanting.
He has nothing to prove?
How about he proves he actually is a top HW.
He fought literally two legit fighters. Was on the verge of losing to Ortiz both times. Got outboxed and destroyed by Fury three times.
If he retires right now he'll always be a 'never was'.
Both Fury and Joshua beat the best HW of the pre 2015 - 2020 era generation, so how is Wilder the no 2?
I thought these losses to Fury would humble some of you Wilder fans, but I see ya'll still the same insufferable bunch you were before Wilder reality check.Comment

I think a fight with an easy target that draws probably better than it should, would be great for Deontay, but I think he's pretty much only interested in Joshua or Usyk at this point. I could be wrong.
He should be interested. I get not fighting for a title to him may not be as appealing but he needs some get back and Chisora would definitely be a good test and a confidence booster for him to return.
Or he may have come to the realization(I doubt it) that his one trick isn't going to get the job done every time. He maybe too old and lazy to want to have to actually work on his craft like a dedicated fighter. From interviews and the things he's said I don't think he has that kind of mental stability or drive to work through his deficiencies
Pretty much, hopefully they are both smart enough to realize fighting one another before retiring for good is a good idea.Comment
