    Let's hear some names.
Zurdo Ramirez, & David Benavidez, and he ran like a dog from Boo Boo Andrade similar to Khan running from Kell Brook for a decade or more. He tried wait for GGG to age out, while he was waiting to come more into his own prime. He's dirty. He strategically fights ppl at the time he feels is to his best advantage, rather than when he is being called out by them. And he uses drugs, like him and Oscar Valdez got caught with. Same camp, same trainer, different PED.

Beteviev has seen better days. If he really wants to challenge himself, Bivol should be the one that will shut up all critics. Then again, canelo should settle on his best weight, and stop fighting the over the hill, past their prime boxers. Just fight the best. He's at the top, everytime he fights a fielding/Yildrim kind of fighter. He's downgrading himself. Be safe

Benevidez and Charlo have done nothing to deserve a Canelo fight they dont have any fights with Plant,BJS,Callum Smith or any guys like this.
The ginger has been given two fights, Lara and ggg.

Nacho said what the rest of us Mexican, non-Canelo groupies have been saying for a while. He’s looked great against the right opposition but still has a way to go to be a “great”. We all saw Mayweather, Lara and a past his prime 37 year old GGG reiterate Nacho’s point. It’s easy to look good against the weakest division at 168 or against a past their prime Kovalev who was taken through the ringer 2 months prior. He’s no Chavez Sr. or Finito Lopez but with the right wins, he can one day be there.

Yup Beristain is exactly right. But it’s not Canelo’s fault that he doesnt have great oppositions like the Barreras, Marquez, Morales, and Pacquiao that will catapult him to that next ATG status.

              Canelo is below Marquez...

Old past prime guys, light punchers and runner, smaller guys coming up, guys who have been knocked cold many times, etc. His whole record is made up of this kinda crap. He has no Salvador Sanchez vs Wilfredo Gomez or Chavez Vs Meldrick Taylor or Marquez vs Pacquiao level fight anywhere on his resume. And when he did step up to a real one, he was schooled. he is a great fighter, like Nacho said, but not based on his carefully matched resume. He is not a fight anyone at anytime kind of fighter like a James Toney. Not by far
I kinda agree but I think he won that second GGG fight, let's not take that from him

His defense combined with accurate power makes opponents reluctant to sit on their punches because they'll usually come up swinging and eat a hard counter for their trouble. But even if they manage to land something good, he happens to have an iron chin and is liable to shoot back with something harder of their own. Opponents tend to opt to tread water throwing arm punches while he lands the harder and cleaner shots.

There was more room for criticism when he was younger and more stationary which allowed opponents more room to tread water, but from the GGG fight onward he's consistently pressing and looking to set up traps and exploit openings and he's methodically breaking guys down or putting them in survival mode. Simply put, Nacho was a hater early on and is reluctant to give it up, although even he disagreed with Marquez at the end saying he could still change his mind in the Mexican GOAT conversation. The irony is that people used to complain about Marquez and not give him his due because he was more of a counterpuncher earlier in his career.

It's been nearly 11 years since Canelo won his first title and he's at the top of his game and at the pinnacle of the sport, you don't have the kind of longevity or development by not making use of all your tools.
Pls... remove your tongue from his anus... that was quite nauseating to read. You seem to have omitted the key fact of CANELO BEING A CONVICTED DRUG CHEAT. He is also right in his assessment of ginger being a dull fighter - compare the entertaining, fan friendly fight GGG had with Jacobs to the sleep inducing 36 minutes Canelo had with him. I will also add he is very correct in saying Plant took a dive - watch it again. The first knockdown may have been legit with the lead left hook but the second was absolute turd... Canelo barely touched him and Plant went down like he got hit by a sniper. Beterbiev would 1000% end the myth of Canelo - both he and Reynoso know this lool.

And I think the Mexican people had a lot of pride in his Cotto victory. Not his fault he's not a walking punching bag and has a great defense.
You are aware of the fact that CANELO USED PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS in the run up to the rematch aren't you? Just barely 12 months prior Canelo's physique was similar to that of Hulk Hogan but it had him blowing as early as round 6... so what does he do, he goes and uses that magical substance clenbuterol (and got busted lol) and hey presto, suddenly his physique is made up of much more lean muscle, with less fat and he has improved stamina to go 123 rounds... and still arguably lost ***in lol " Of the 18 media outlets scoring the bout, 10 ruled in favor of Golovkin, 7 scored a draw, while 1 scored the bout for Álvarez".
