Canelo haters are so desperate to discredit him they've turned into full blown conspiracy theorists. Next they're going to accuse him of being behind the JFK assassination ha. I was in a long winded mood earlier but there's not much that needs to be said when Nacho is trying to claim Canelo isn't worthy of comparisons to fighters like Chavez Sr even though Chavez himself praised him as a fellow great. As for GGG, he's done claiming Mexican style after the damage Canelo did to him.

Speaking of conspiracy theories... I genuinely believe that as well as having his wraps stacked and wearing hard horsehair Winning gloves, Canelo also came in north of 160lbs for the first fight with Golovkin. There is no way in hell Canelo could weigh in at the middleweight limit of 160lbs when you see how muscular and thick he was at that moment in time. I believe he weighed in circa 163-164lbs - the weight he fought Chavez Jr at only 4 months prior.

You can now get an idea as to why Eric Gomez was in such a rush to stop the NSAC executive director Bob Bennet from weighing Canelo lol

By your logic, if someone says something offensive against ***s, Puerto Ricans, ******s, Catholics, people who are mentally handicapped, and people take offense and clap back then that is some sort of proves the comments are true? nacho is right doe!! no hating on canelo, he's a great fighter and will be an ATG when it's all said and done... BUT, he has never been in a fight, where he has been tested and came out victorious. the closest fight to this was against GGG and even in that fight, i was not amaze at what canelo was able to do, and then in his fight against floyd where he was tested, he loss..

I live by a border town with Mexicans and Mexican Americans. You'll be surprised how many of these fans could care less about Canelo. Sure the bars are still full when he fights, but he's not celebrated that same way as with Chavez, Barrera, Morales, etc. I also wondered about this, but your opinion might be spot on. Wars are what wins over the undying loyalty of many fans.

Canelo Alvarez, has not had this kind of fight because? He has been yo yoing up and down the weight classes. It seems to me, that Alvarez does not stay in any weight class long enough for genuine rivalries to develop 'Plus the era he is competing in is below par'. There seems to be a lack of passion from his competitors.

What on earth has Caleb Plant been doing since he was beaten? I have no idea. Going back in history, when Champions get beaten 'Most if the time those fighters always want rematches, or even if they don't get a immediate rematch 'That ambition and target will always be on their agenda'.

Alvarez has been beating fighters, and then during the aftermath they seem to just fade away.

It is only really Golovkin, I feel who has always kept Alvarez as a target. I think Golovkin is Alvarez nemesis.
