  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua is Too Big Not To Happen

Eddie Hearn, promoter of Anthony Johsua, believes a domestic blockbuster with Tyson Fury is simply too big of a fight not to happen in the future. Joshua was outboxed over twelve rounds last September, when he fought Oleksandr Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

As long as Anthony Joshua stops losing then I’m sure it can happen.

id be happy to watch it either way.

But the obvious winner is being shown more as time goes on.

but boxing is boxing, and without an actual fight then no winner could ever be declared. Anything is possible

Eddy wants 45% for Whyte, Fury can't afford to fight AJ.

Lol that fight not happening!! Typical Hearn, pretend to be interested then fight somebody else. Aj commercial value went down so he may risk it.. these MFerz were terrified of wilder lol that won't be forgotten

There seems to be some sort of agenda, presumably with Wilder fans that AJ wouldn't fight Wilder or Fury.

Doesn't seem to fit reality as we all know what happened with the Wilder/DAZN deal and we know we were one Fury signature away from AJ/Fury for undisputed before a coincendetally well timed abritration result stopping that fight.

There seems to be little doubt Hearn will try and make the Fury fight, win or lose v Fury.

The questions are if Top Rank will be interested or if AJ will be interested if he loses again v Usyk

                  Glad someone else says this.

Everyone has a prediction for what might happen but it’s actually gotta happen.

Joshua could lose the next 3 and this fight will still be “a good fight”

This is one are where boxing can learn something from MMA, sad to say, but a losing record never erases your threat and the quality of the matchup over in that field

I love watching boxing for the art of boxing. But I love the matchups and one champion per division of the ufc. And the fans stick with fighters after losses. Pretty records aren’t as important.

Boxing is all about carefully picked fights and sure win scenarios. Pisses me off when I think about it
