He looked old as shyt, plodding and vulnerable against a third tier opponent. I wouldnt favour him over anyone in the top 10 anymore off the back of that.

I think Martin/Washington/brezeale, that's the league Luis Ortiz is in, he may be top of that league but if he moves up to the Parker/Ruiz league he will get badly beaten.

He looked unsteady on his feet, slow, clunky, old. He has good power and the finishing instincts are there but he's not going to get Joseph Parker hurt like that is he lol.

Ortiz is still relevant but if this wasn’t a real blue print to beat him I don’t know what is because Martin at least for me isn’t a top 10 guy .

Artur Beterbiev also looked like crap coming off a two year layoff but came back looking beastly as hell his next time out. King Kong's next opponent will feel the wrath.

      Whyte-Ortiz is what boxing needs.

Martin's second knock down was a gorgeous shot...I mean he is talented, but he is there to he hit as well and Ortiz would have to cut the ring better against a more mobile guy like Parker or Ruiz.

He got the job done, that's all you can say really. Charles Martin is #1 P4P when it comes to "Paper Champions". The thing that concerns me the most is that we are seeing fighters being moved into mandatory positions, with final eliminators for the majority of the governing bodies. If another mandatory gets called for the Usyk-Joshua II winner, we may be waiting until 2023 to see Fury vs. Usky/AJ, or the belts may fracture before we get to see an Undisputed.
