Ortiz is still relevant but if this wasn’t a real blue print to beat him I don’t know what is because Martin at least for me isn’t a top 10 guy .
Martin can punch... that second KO was a really well executed shot, straight as an arrow. I think its fair to say one guy or the other that won this is more relevant and in the mix. Ortiz does look very unsteady though... But he is an excellent finisher and can catch ya. He set that left up all night, trying to counter Martin and finally just said "fck it" and went in with the shot preemptively.

If another mandatory gets called for the Usyk-Joshua II winner, we may be waiting until 2023 to see Fury vs. Usky/AJ, or the belts may fracture before we get to see an Undisputed.
Thats my issue as well. All the alphabet soup really messes up the natural order. It would help if more fighters did what Lewis did when they wanted to make him fight Ruiz... and he laughed at them and fought who the people really thought could beat him (Michael Grant).

A serious danger is DAZN or Matchroom winning the purse bid for Fury-Whyte, and then insisting on a rematch clause. If that happens, Fury will be tied up for 2022. Meanwhile, you have the likes of Joseph Parker and Luis Ortiz looking to get into a mandatory position, and why wouldn't they? A fight I'd love to see is Ortiz vs. Frank Sanchez. Sanchez himself is a tough proposition for anyone I'd say. Also maybe Parker vs. Joe Joyce along the way too. The winners of those two fights would be more than deserving of title shots. And lastly, why is Daniel Dubois #1 with the WBA? Will Trevor Bryan ever look to get a shot at the "Super Champion"? The WBA leaves us with more questions than answers at this point.

They were both constantly vulnerable in what was a fun fight to watch.

I think if either fights someone decent who can punch then it's over quickly.

Ortiz got the job done and looked crap doing it. That's a recipe for getting a decent fight next up.

Undisputed is gone. If it couldn't be made when Joshua and Wilder was huge, and it couldn't be made when Fury and Joshua had the belts then it won't be made.

There'll always be someone taking out injunctions or orgs playing silly buggers, but the big fights get made because they make too much sense to avoid.

Best chance is Fury v Joshua. But it didn't happen before, won't happen next time.

Ortiz vs Wilder 3 needs to happen and be at least $99.99 for it .

Ortiz is probably 50 years old and was knocked down twice by Martin. I like Ortiz, but anyone with a fully functioning brain sees he need to retire.

Belongs in the Vitali Klitschko era but he's still here schooling these young heavyweights.... big respect to King Kong Ortiz!

Looks like Hrgovic vs Ortiz is next ,I think it’s a short bandwagon . I’m favoring Hrgovic huge in this one .

I think Martin/Washington/brezeale, that's the league Luis Ortiz is in, he may be top of that league but if he moves up to the Parker/Ruiz league he will get badly beaten.

He looked unsteady on his feet, slow, clunky, old. He has good power and the finishing instincts are there but he's not going to get Joseph Parker hurt like that is he lol.
C'mon, you've seen Washington yesterday, he's a shot fighter for real for real! There are levels to being shot.
Ortiz has shown some slippage yesterday but he still has his pop and his deep amateur pedigree too rely on.
That being said he is ripe for the taking by a young hungry talented upcoming HW in a "sink or swim" type of fight for the young fighter.
