The anti-Hearn idiots are TERRIBLE for boxing.

Are there really Hearn haters? He’s not even a boxer. There may be people who are less familiar with boxers that aren’t stateside, but Hearn puts forth good contests. Whyte gets the same treatment andrade gets, same treatment Russell gets, same treatment Haney gets. He’s not a household name and boxers avoid him, so he gets the label of being unknown and undeserving. I’m not certain this is all about Hearn.Comment

You’re a good dude but this is BS. He’s holding guys out for a Canelo fight. That is why Andrade and Ggg are not fighting each other. It’s also why he isn’t making Bivol v Zurdo.
The only time I hear posters complain about this type of career management is when it’s a pbc boxer. That needs to stop.Comment

At the end of the day Eddie Hearn is a slimy arrogant rich boy who comes across as a bit of a ccky wanker but its not his persona I'm interested in it is what he does or what he tries to deliver as a Boxing promoter and what he does or tries to deliver is a damn site better than the Duck jobs and lies and spin we seem to get from those other crappy outfits.
DAZN is a steal at $100 or whatever I pay per year. I mean, the first three weeks now, there's nothing to look forward to. But that just goes to show how much they deliver. They have more fights that ESPN, way more than Fox, and way way more than Showtime. And no PPV crap.
Plus, I watch a lot of the fights on replay the next day. I like being able to easily skip through the 1 minute pause between rounds, just by hitting the 30-second button twice. It's better than hitting the 10 second button 6 times, like ESPN. And it's a LOT better than not even being able to watch a fight the next day, like Showtime! (What's up with that?)
Plus, I can tune in halfway thru the event and start at the beginning or live. Or later I can choose a fight, which will take me to the timestamp when it begins. That's total convenience right there. Everybody else ought to pattern their formats after DAZN.
I really don't care about the guy's personal characteristics. I'm not watching him; I'm watching fights, a lot of them, at a bargain price.
And like you said, he makes good matches.
Lastly, I like that he has a presence in Italy, and Kazakhstan (I think it's there). That way I get to see some Euro talent too. It's an international experience; we live in an international world.Comment

Personally, I just like watching fights. If somebody gives me good fights, a lot of them, at a good price, then I'm all for it.
For me that's DAZN. But I pay for ESPN to round out the schedule too.
If I could bring back the old school days on weekly fights on HBO or Fox, I would. But here we are in 2021, and I'm glad to be able to watch something more weeks than not, affordably.Comment

If I was a pro fighter, I would fight Fury for 100 000 dollars.
If you believe you are good enough, beat the man, you will make millions later as a champ.

Preach on. I'm with you 100%. I watch fights on every network I possibly can. I have DAZN and love it. Also have ESPN and ESPN+ so I can watch fights on their networks. Watch on Showtime and FOX as well. If I decide a PPV is worth it, I will get it but I pass on them more often than not.

All of the promoters and networks have pissed me off at one point or another but I get the fact that they need to make business decisions and sometimes I won't like that decision as a fan.Comment

GGG is signed to DAZN, not Hearn.

Zurdo was signed to Bob Arum and is now with Golden Boy, not Hearn.
All the PBC fighters are signed to Al Haymon.
Let me know when you hear Bivol or Andrade saying, "You gotta cross the street and sign with Eddie if you want to fight me"Comment
