Better Beef should have looked like a 50 year old shot fighter so Cheatballs would want to fight him. He just guaranteed Red ain't going nowhere near him for at least 3 more years.

Beterbiev is a beast! After reading a few articles on this site and the Ring over the last few days, I was excited for what I thought (and hoped) would be a great fight against two tough, determined fighters with seemingly opposing styles. Browne started off well, and I was wondering if he has been overlooked and may be better than he gets credit for, and/or maybe Beterbiev isn't the killer that he's made to be, and that his record indicates. But, after a slow start, and a clash of heads, Beterbiev cranked up his intensity and proceeded to break down Marcus Browne (I'm a poet and didn't even know it). While there are clearly some flaws and holes in Beterbiev's game, his pros definitely seem to outweigh his cons so far. He may not have the deepest resume, and he is getting older, but I definitely want to see him fight Canelo within the next year, or less. Despite my constant bashing of Canelo's silly fanboys, and his business model, I do like Canelo and think that he's an entertaining and really good fighter. But, as a boxing fan I want to see the best fighters challenging themselves by fighting other good fighters, even if there's a chance that they lose. And, despite Canelo's power and constantly improving skills, he's far from invincible, and I want to see him against someone, ANYONE, where the fight is viewed as a 50/50 match up, which he hasn't had since GGG. Maybe Canelo outboxes Beterbiev and takes him out with a body shot. Or, maybe Beterbiev walks Canelo down and finishes the job that Golovkin couldn't finish. To me it doesn't matter, may the best man win. Canelo is still in his prime and has plenty of time to add some 'real' fights and challenges to his record and enhance his legacy and get closer to cementing his place as an ATG, but he's not there yet, and if he doesn't start fighting and beating the biggest threats and challenges in the weights he fights at, whether it's GGG, Andrade, or Charlo @ middleweight, Benavidez @ super middle, or Bivol, or Beterbiev @ light heavy, he will never be considered an ATG, but a great fighter who dominated good fighters, struggled with or narrowly beat elite fighters, but was entertaining and made a **** ton of money. Not a bad career at all, pretty great actually, just not ATG great, in my opinion.

1. Schmanelo is an absolute beast, that puss can box.
a.2. Because he extremely talented and very fun to watch ( I mean the guy has it all, in the ring and out, no hate there he is that man)real fans, objective fans, not race based over zealous schlubs want to see if indeed those skills are there against top tier comp in or around there prime.(we saw him look like a clown against May, struggle against Lara and to some extent Trout Golovkin spank him the first time, but then he absolutely put a clinic in the rematch and the best I have ever seen him..)
3. Don't be delusional or dare I say wrapped in the media hype, be objective
Browne is better than version of Jacob's himself lol, closest level I could compare to schmanelo opponent.
4. He just needs to stop being a diva stop chasing useless title's and show why he is "the man."
No need for the "190 cruiserweight" jump..he doesn't even need to fight the African American athletic boxer I and others having been asking..Fight Beterbiev, beat him and he is top 35 ATG if he beats..defend against anyone he wants after..give me one true test..or drop to 168 and give these no names as the nut huggers say a bone..or retire, he is clogging up the game right now

The scariest part is that he is already 36, only has 17 pro fights, wasted a ton of time by having a career littered with inactivity, had trouble making 175lbs, and still looks in great shape and like he is physically in his prime when he likely is just maybe at his peak/past his peak.
He is not past prime yet, but likely closer to past prime than he is to prime. But he still looks better than most young/prime fighters. Like I don’t expect Beterbiev to have any issues with any current Ring top 10 175 fighter right now, regardless of age/prime. Only reason he isn’t seen as a top 10 P4P fighter is because he hasn’t beaten any great fighters excluding Gvozdyk.
But the rare times I have seen Beterbiev fight top 10 LHW’s, he destroys them. Campillo, Cloud, Gvozdyk, Browne…he destroyed them all. He showed he was above just a top 10 guy of a division. Beterbiev can easily be ranked top 10 P4P if we stayed consistent on just going by “the eye test”. He has shown that.
His inactivity, even pre-covid, has been awful. That hurt his career. Fighting once in a blue moon. Once in 2017, once in 2018, 0 times in 2020. Beterbiev, in my eyes, is the best and most inactive fighter I have seen. Like it is disappointing to see such a good fighter who is so inactive. And please don’t tell me it’s because he is ducked. GGG was supposedly ducked as well but managed to fight 3 times a year at the height of his career, and then at worst two times a year. And just recently, due to age, once a year. Beterbiev and his handlers should have done much better than 17 fights by age 36.
