Usyk was in the heavyweight division . Your wrong .

The medalists of the SHD was subpar ,no one even knows who they are many were undersized as well despite knocking Wilder around they would never make it in the pro ranks outside Romanov who really is a Bridger or cruiser weight .

I think even Lewis has even stated himself, that he had not prime. That is what I think anyway.

Mike Tyson was still a really top amateur, I think it was Henry Tillman who beat him for Olympic nullification. Tyson later fought him in the professional ranks, and sparked out inside 1 round etc

Overall, I think the Olympic Boxing Title is losing prestige. Mainly because they have changed the rules, and it does not quite seem like route into the professional game anymore.

Frazier Clarke won a bronze medal this year at the Olympics, well done to him but? What is he wanting to do off the back off that. Plus he I think had fought as a professional before, he decided to go back into the amateurs.

I don't like the new rules of Olympic boxing at all.

Lewis peak was hooking up with Steward ,he switched multiple trainers to become the finished article.

His best performance was against Tommy Morrison, most likely because he feared taking a bomb in that fight and fought a perfect fight even out left hooking him .

Tyson lost multiple times in the ams and against Biggs to . He didn’t have a style suited for it .

Klitschko, Usyk and AJ are all dominant heavyweights, all gold medalists .

I thought so as well. Most they can get even in a purse bid is 70/30.

Don't know where fools getting 55/45 purse split?? Whyte isnt an interim champion.

20% still at least #2 million++ for Whyte.

              How am I wrong?

              Clemente Russo beat Usyk.

              Then he beat Wilder...

              And lost to Chakhiev.

                  Whyte/Aj fans are delusional.

Odds with REAL $$$$ is giving Whyte an 18% chance of winning.. and its going down.

Think you’ve answered your own question there..if Whyte can get 30% by forcing a purse bid where he wouldn’t be forced to sign a rematch clause should he win, then why tf would he accept a 20% offer with a rematch clause presumably added on top? Explain how that would make sense?

Besides, Whyte has been making £4m headlining his own PPVs, including his last one, and is the 3rd most popular HW in the UK who brings a lot of entertainment value to a promotion, so you really need to get gone with the idea of $2m being a reasonable offer to someone in his position.

He also defeated Russo in 2011 among much better fighters then 2008 .

The 2008 fighters were not on par ,certainly Usyk was not the same 3 years earlier . If I recall correctly anyway Wilder medaled because someone dropped out ? He didn’t actually win a bout to obtain one but I’m not sure .

Also Whyte is the interim Champion.
