Sure - but promote a star that simply refuses to promote themselves and you'll have a dim star. When you're socially awkward and introverted and refuse to work on it (and you dont have to, be yourself sure) dont expect to go far. EI is real and has been proven thousands of times (emotional intelligence).

Crawford's personality is gloomy and low low low - its not enticing, its kind of like a fading flower, you kind of rather not look at.

This is why Teofimo, Berlanga, Ryan act so fake - they are trying very hard to act extroverted. Honestly its too much for me, but this sells better than not being proactive in being socially active.

Most important lesson we dont teach kids is to take full responsibility for your life. Blame no one on your condition, its not going to help a single bit (even if you're 100% right). People sit out for years on a lot of things (having a relationship, saving money, better career) hopeing life will address their wants.

I think it was a combination of not getting the fights Bud wanted that could generate more revenue AND the lack of Bud's personality. He's a tad dry when he speaks and comes off dull. Of course his fighting is a whole different story but again, in that situation, he requires the right dance partners. Heck, Pacquiao could barely speak English in the early going but he fought the right guys to make for hella entertaining fights. How could a foreigner have a bigger response than a domestic fighter of equal talent?

Crawford you want money. You want that fame, gotta beat Canelo, bra. And why not? Move up, fight Canelo. Give us a fight we all want to see.
Canelo vs Crawford is a fight I'd love to see, but there's no way to make the weights work. Even if Saul could trim down to 160, it'd be a stretch for Bud meet him there.

Yes, I get that, and was just sort of being a *devil's advocate"
I think Crawford is in a bit of a tight spot tbh.

Crawford should definitely venture out and test the waters to see what's best for his career at this point. Nothing bad to say about Top Rank, but this seems to occur with all of their top fighters.

Same thing is happening right now to Shakur Stevenson trying to to get the fight with his Top Rank stablemate Oscar Valdez.
Yup, the hung that carrot in front of him and he resigned. Unfortunately for him COVID happened and Arum couldn't close the deal. It is a problem when you have a superstar at the weight and others are waiting for that chance.

His name is Atty. Franklin “Jeng” Gacal. He blasted Arum and Koncz all the time!

Pacquiao Attorney Franklin Gacal Says Bob Arum Is Blocking the Mayweather-Pacquiao Fight

Many people have felt that the main reason there has not been a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao has been due to Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum. In a report by Fighthype.com, Pacquiao's lawyer and Chief of Staff Franklin "Jeng" Gacal believes this to be true. In the report the lawyer stated through a

yeah whatever BOB, he bashed Mayweather after he left Top Rank as well so this was expected, just wait for it next he will be accusing Bud of ducking Josh Taylor

Would like to see him on FOX just like Spence getting the same Promotion as they build up towards they fight. Bud vs Thurman on FOX PPV would do very well. While Spence works his way back from this eye injury. If they do the fight now and Bud wins, he won't get any credit, people are just going to say "Well Spence Wasn't The Same After The Car Accident And Eye Injury...". Also too their fight should be for Undisputed and for ALL THE BELTS making it truly the mega fight that some believe it to be

I just don't see the point of being somehow HAPPY that one of the best Fighters P4P Currently is not a Draw...to me that makes the Fans and the Promoter that Promotes him look even worse. STFU demanding all these bigger fights when you don't even support the good fights that are actually made

Definitely in a tight spot. Time is not on his side. I saw in another thread someone suggested Mayweather to promote Bud. What ya think about that idea?

Come on bro, that's an easy one. Pacman has an entire country behind him, Crawford not so much. You ask a random casual on the street in the U.S. if they're going to watch Crawford vs Porter and they'll be like "Who? What fight? There's a fight?"
