Not saying you're wrong here but who do you think Hearn could get for No Pay Cut Crawford's next fight off the back of less than 150k ppv buys?

    • If you can`t sell the fighter who knocks out nearly everybody he fights, you are in wrong business.

Arum had Crawford and Pacquiao in the same time and he didn`t make the fight, only he knows why.

I seriously doubt Hearn could pull it off in 1 fight but I do think he could promote the **** out of Crawford and build those numbers up in a couple of fights. I could honestly see Hearn working for the guy and getting him a Spence or Ugas fight in 2021. Buds only hope at building a brand is either Spence, Ugas or maybe Boots and Ortiz Jr unless he wanted to try his luck at 154 but he needs to consider at his age it's all borrowed time.

So. Hearn is going to (or ask dazn to) lose money for a couple of fights with the aim of (maybe) securing Spence or Ugas, which would rely almist entirely on PBC being cooperative. That's going to take at least another 12-18 months, with a 34 yr old fighter who, at that point, will be looking at retirement.
          It's a possibility I suppose although desn't seem like there's much upside for Hearn/Dazn.
          Thanks.

Crawford should definitely venture out and test the waters to see what's best for his career at this point. Nothing bad to say about Top Rank, but this seems to occur with all of their top fighters.

Same thing is happening right now to Shakur Stevenson trying to to get the fight with his Top Rank stablemate Oscar Valdez.

He resigned with arum like twice now in recent years because he is happy fighting bums for a few million apiece. im surprised with a good deal like that he wasnt fighting 3-4 times a year. i mean you could do a big fight and risk your 0 or just make the same fighting 3 tomato cans a year.

idk why Arum is crying about over paying him, he is the one that signed him and he dont put any effort for promoting him but takes like 30% cut of the purse, figure it out you been in the business for 50 years.

            • This is easy.

When you fights against top-rivals, famous fighters, you get famous.

If Crawford resume were this: Josh Taylor instead the bums of 140, a prime Brook, Spence, Porter, an old Pacquiao, Danny García, instead those bums he fought in 147.

he will be a ppv Star.

Nobody knows him around the world.

              His resume is garbage.

              Thats the reason.

He has not a single Big Fight and he is 34 years old.

At 34, might be too late...even beating Spence won't do it. He should fight Charlo. Or even Golovkin whose a bigger man but Crawford would have a 4 inch reach advantage. TC might get wrecked but Golovkin is aging so who knows? He'd definitely get paid though and either fight would be a monster.
                  Lol
Golovkin was of a small country. Filipinas is a extremely poor country

                  Stop with your excuses.

Crawford is black and blacks have a lot of support.

The reason why Terrence is not a ppv Star is because he was happy fighting nothing but bums his whole career, and not taking risk fights.

                    Exactly.

I never seen a fighter at 34 years old with that bad resume

Let me clarify it's not a guarantee I'm just think Hearn is the better fit for Bud and most logical PROMOTER to get him out there more. These comments are just thoughts tossed in the air in the realm of possibility. At the end of the day its boxing so who knows what will happen
