Having only seen highlights, I am not one to give a great breakdown. But from what i have seen and read was that Cruz has upped his stock in a very competitive division and proven himself worthy of being on the short list of "next set of names" after the top 4 or so. That can be considered a huge win for him. Just surviving against Davis is respectable, being close on all 3 cards at age 23 with room to grow is positioning himself for very important match-ups in his career.

Davis has no apologies to make. Every professional outlet I respect had him winning. He faced adversity and handled it like a pro. Not every fight is a dominating KO.

Let’s be honest for a minute, Tank Davis won, but he fought like if he had no injure and he run from cruz the whole night, why it’s so hard to admit cruz made tank look bad? Why not giving Cruz credit for chasing tank all night?
and why not giving a rematch? Tank said he’ll no to a rematch why? He claimed he was injured , that means he can KO cruz on a rematch when fully healthy right?
or Hell No to a rematch

Prograis is/was suffering the side-effects of being a boxer without a premier promotional company behind him.

I don't understand why people thought Cruz would be a pushover. It looked obvious to me from his previous performances how tough he was. I honestly think a lot of people can only judge by resume and not just what their eyes tell them.

I agree Tank should rematch with Cruz, so he can beat him with two arms

Cruz went straight to Tank, handled Tanks power extremely well, and stood his own. He definitely exceeded expectations and made the fight closer than what everyone thought it was going to be. Especially with 6 weeks (I think, can’t remember the exact time) to prepare for the fight. Tank was also fighting with one hand after the 6th for the most part. Cruz has a lot of potential but I think Tank is just one of those breeds that’s different. He’s tough, hits hard, and sticks to the science. Not to put down Cruz in any way. He’ll be a huge name going forward hopefully.

It was a good and competitive fight but Gervonta Davis clearly won. Isaac Cruz definitely raised his profile with his performance.
