I still want to see Davis vs. GRJ @ 135! That's would be a chess match! Both short, fast hands, and southpaw! Perfect for DC on Juneteenth Weekend! Floyd, Make It Happen! If not GRJ, then Regis Prograis @ 140!

Funny though, can’t knock the guy out and suddenly it’s my hand was broke. He was throwing that shhhh all night until the tenth like it was made of gold. Foh. With the excuses. Matter of fact go look at his open workout.. show me where he was taking it easy on his “broken” hand. Just say Cruz rose to the occasional and fought in a manner I wasn’t ready for.

Russell wants to fight everyone and has an opinion on everything, yet his career always appears to be in suspended animation. He's one in a long line of boxers whose word means nothing. A fighter I used to be excited about, but his constant barking without action has turned me off.

Gary has a right to say what the hell he wants but last I checked he’s a corner man for his weak asss brother! LMAO

Well if his career is stagnant, he might as well help his brothers succeed.

I'm just as disappointed as you, but I do like the match-up! I think Prograis is equally a good opponent, but he has also disappointed me with his selection of opponents after Josh Taylor!

Out of his comfort zone? Yes.

                All the other things? No.

I dislike when guys act like sticking and moving is being afraid.

If you don't like it, take it away from them.

Half the time, Isaac Cruz was initiating clinches to end his own combos. Man should have just ****** through.

But without a doubt, Davis was out of his comfort zone most of, if not then the entire fight. Davis got pushed close to being overwhelmed but not quite there.

You're absolutely right! Cruz was chasing him out of the ring the last round.

Cruz is 23. He has excellent accuracy to the body, his head movement made Davis miss and he kept moving his head the whole fight. Also held his guard tight and was defensively responsible. This kid has some chops and could have easily have won that fight... many people feel he should have. He is no fluke, no lucky guppy that was lucky tank's hand was injured... AND most important you could see he hurt Davis to the body. Tank got the nod because boxing is what it is... But by most measures Cruz won.
