Whyte might actually be different in person, but from what I see on TV, I can’t stand the c***.
Yeah I met Bellew in Cannock at a Mayweather meet and greet. He seemed alright, shook my hand and was polite although wasn't in the best mood.

From my experience it just depends on the day, just like anyone else. I met Adrien Broner in Las Vegas when he was still undefeated, expected him to be a nightmare but he was very nice and polite.

On the other hand I met Tommy Hearns about 10 years back and he was probably the rudest fighter I've ever met. And I've met hundreds over the decades.

What was Floyd like? Is it all catchphrases a bullsh** or is he more genuine in person?

James Toney was similar to what you described about AB. I met him at a convention in Vegas and I expected him to be quite obnoxious but really nice dude, I had a great conversation with him about his career and the 90’s era.

I actually thought Tommy was cool when I met him, punchy as hell though, I felt sorry for him tbh. I hate seeing fighters struggling health wise.

I've met Floyd 3 times. Once at Pea**** Gym in London in 2009, once in Vegas 2010 and in Cannock UK in 2016. He was great all 3 times. Very nice, polite, friendly.

I know what Convention you're talking about, the same on I met Roberto Duran at and others.

I've met Tommy Hearns twice, both times very rude. The second time incredibly rude. But like I say, two people can meet the same guy and have totally different experiences. Just normal people aren't they, good days and bad days.

That convention was during Canelo-GGG 2 fight week. I don’t remember Duran being there but I left early and if I missed him I’m gutted.

There were quite a few big names there, Hearns, Toney, Spence, Porter, Mikey etc.

Yeah you’re right, it probably depends on they’re feeling on the day.

They have them every year or used to. I went in 2015, Mayweather-Berto fight weekend.

It's usually the same guys there every year, give or take.

I enjoyed Lejarraga - Flatley the most. Yarde -Arthur was also a good one.

In principle good... I'd happily have boxing every night of the damn week. In practical terms when it means waiting up til 4 or 5 a.m for a US fight when I got the school run and possibly some drywalling or decking to build in the a.m ... Not so great.

It's not great for international viewers who have to be up for work / school on the Monday morning, only way to watch the fight live if you're not in an American timezone is to sleep deprive yourself. Saturday night fights on the US are fine because you can lie in on Sunday morning if you stay up into the early hours of the morning to watch the fight.

Boxing on Sunday's is fine. I’m fine with boxing on any day of the week, but PPV on a Sunday?

Idk man. During football season you’re going up against the NFL. You’re not going to get a lot of buys. I think Sunday boxing should be Friday Night Fights level matches.
