I like it. Gives us a full weekend of boxing, like you get with the footy over here.
Thoughts on Sunday night boxing?

Doesn’t make much sense to go up against the NFL on a Sunday. Most casuals will get their sports fix early so less incentive to pay $80 for what’s a showcase fight.
Plus on the east coast with these main events starting late means it will probably do less buys. Saturday nights are good for late night fights as a lot of people don’t have to get up early on Sunday.
This fight was already going to do a low number. A Sunday fight hurts it more.Comment

I quite like it
Although probably not ideal if you’re in the UK and want to watch and have to get up for work in the morning and the fight is the middle of the night
I always remember Errol Spence v Bundu being on a Sunday, it may have even been afternoon time in USA because I don’t recall it being in the middle of the night hereComment

I’d like to see UK promoters do it too. Sky should do shows following Super Sunday, they’d do massive numbers.Comment

Yeah, Bellew v Makabu was a Sunday, before a bank holiday. I’m surprised they never did it more.
You might arguably get a bigger audience on a Sunday because a lot of people have other plans on Saturdays, especially a casual audience that aren’t going to break plans for a boxing match
