What are you talking about? Just because someone is a mandatory doesn’t mean it’s a purse bid with mandatory split. They always have the option to make a deal between the fighters before any purse bid is forced. Plus it’s the challenger forcing the bid and Canelo isn’t going to a bid with anyone. He’s his own boss.
This guy isn’t pricing himself out and if he does Canelo will just move on to the next one.

He obviously deserves to be mandatory much more than anyone else. Wilder just had two more goes at getting it back.

Let's just talk sensibly instead of turning this into a slanging match.

The truth is Brazeale never should've been mandatory and the WBC heavyweight champion hasn't fought a real mandatory in YEARS. These rules and stipulations they make up are nonsense. Fighting mandatories is what makes champions. Fury would've never beaten Wlad if he never fought mandatories.

And if you are right about Canelo - Why has he gone to the WBC to ask for the fight? He could've just made Makubu an offer anyway. He's twisting the system because he knows the WBC are curropt and will bend to whatever he wants.
It’s not bias at all, everything I said was factual. Whyte has turned down multiple title eliminators and a direct title shot. He recently got iced by a 40 yr old man too and has failed multiple drug tests. He certainly doesn’t deserve to be mandatory.

Whyte will duck the Fury fight anyway…

Oh no problem with that, but why did Canelo ask the WBC to get involved?

He could've gone to Makubu directly.

And why have the WBC made this the mandatory anyway?? Canelo isn't the number 1 contender and shouldn't be anywhere close.

Again, no problem with the fight, I like it. But the WBCs involvement is shifty af

          Obviously.

But this didn't need to go through the WBC. The fact it has is shifty in the first place.

Also the WBC should've said no there's others ahead in the queue. If you want to fight Makubu, offer him a deal, don't come to us.

I know there’s a rule for one of the organizations that an undisputed champ can move up and immediately challenge the champ of that Org. Usyk did it to Joshua.

              Fact used loosely.

Regardless, he still has a very good resume of compared to every other heavy, including Wilder who has already had 2 shots to get it back.

Your opinion has everything to do with bias.

You solidify that when you say Whyte will duck the fight. He's in a legal battle to get the fight.

Anyway, clearly won't get anywhere with this!

The WBC need to make the heavyweight champion fight a mandatory. Now (since its years overdue)

                WBO, not WBC.

Also that's one division, not two

Imagine the outrage if Canelo were demanding a 190 catchweight for a 200 pound title.

You can't really blame Canelo but it's still a title with an asterisk next to it.

Maybe, just maybe he was trying to negotiate the sanctioning fees.

                      WTF?

                      Not used loosely whatsoever.

I said he turned down multiple eliminators.
-He rejected an IBF Eliminator vs Pulev.
-He rejected a WBC Eliminator vs Ortiz.
                      Factually accurate.

I said he rejected a direct title shot.
                      - He rejected a WBA/IBF/WBO title shot vs Joshua.
                      Factually accurate.

I said he got knocked out in his second to last fight by a 40 yr old.
-Whyte was knocked out in his second to last fight by Alexander Povetkin who was 40 years old.
                      Again factually accurate.

I said he failed two drugs test.
-Whyte failed a drug test in 2012 for MHA.
                      - Whyte failed a drugs test in 2019 for Dianabol.
                      Yet again factually accurate.

It’s clear who’s bias here and it’s not me.
