Yeah... agreed. Looong time and both guys, specially Ortiz are not getting younger. If they are both in good form I actually like the card because it is all heavyweights. Its good to see some of the guys in the division making a move. Sanchez particularly seems to have gotten a lot of recent attention.

I totally agree. I think it’s a decent card. Demerezin i thought exposed Ajagba even though he lost a close decision. He took Efa’s best punches & fought back all 10 rounds. I think he takes out Washington. He showed me Efa wasn’t some scary unbeatable HW.

These days I only watch HWs & occasionally CWs because of the possibility of them moving up. This is a card that interests me.

I think the winner of Ortiz/Martin will have to face Hrgovic in a final eliminator…

I find that hard to believe they would let that fight go through without ordering a final elimination bout and wait that long for Hrgovic to sit and watch and get yet another fight even though they have penalized guys for declining him . In fact Martin should be removed as well from the top 10 because he declined the fight as well .

Hunter was dropped for refusing to fight an eliminator. That doesn't mean it was a FINAL eliminator. Hearn said it was a final eliminator. I never saw the IBF say that anywhere.




Show me where the IBF has said Hrgovic is fighting a FINAL eliminator.

IBF rules are very clear. You win one eliminator to get ranked in the top 2, then you have to win another eliminator to become mandatory. Hrgovic isn't in the top two because he hasn't won an eliminator. Nowhere did the IBF ever say that Hrgovic vs Hunter was a FINAL eliminator. Hearn pulled that out of his ass as usual.

it's only 40 bucks. as fans we need to support the sport. if we spend 40 dollars on this, we'll be able to spend 40 dollars on every card, eventually. we need to let the networks and promoters know that we're willing to PPV every card and not just fights that are "PPV-worthy".

me personally, i don't buy PPVs and haven't since 15 years ago.
