I responded to the post. You didn’t post any of that until now. You didn’t post facts, you gave an opinion. I responded to that opinion.
No it was a lack of talent, he looked great vs smaller men and no hopers, but when he fought people his own size he looked anything but talented. He looked like a man who was protected and it showed when they couldn't do it no more. That is the direction Porky is headed. The same same direction that led to Wilder's fall from grace.

He isn't hitting 300k he is mid 200k and this garbage fight isnt going to buck that trend. People pay but often complain about other boxers who aren't with their favorite promoter. To me it doesn't matter who is promoting the card if it's trash it's trash and I will call it as such.

I posted plenty on where I stand when it comes to s**t shows like this mess. Look at the guy he is fighting and who he's lost too and his draw. Nothing impressive about him, hand picked safe fight. Thats what kills the sport. If your willing to pay because he's Floyd's project that says a whole lot about you. Defend it but don't want to see you b**ch when other promoters do it.

Hahaha!! That was a good one. Both are hype jobs, bet you were on the Broner train until he started getting exposed. You'll turn on Porky too if Floyd actually stops protecting him and has him fight Haney, Lopez or Taylor. Floyd just gonna keep cashing in as long as possible. All those fake WBA belts got you blinded.

Nah, Fury and Wilder fought 3 times. Canelo just fought on a PBC card, and Porter is fighting this weekend on a Top Rank card. The whole "other side of the street" is just a lame excuse. Davis is aiming for low hanging fruit with his "regular" belts. He could easily force a mandatory against the real champs in his divisions. Just like Porter did. And Davis claims to be the money man. He could likely get any fight he wants.

Too bad his promoter doesn't really think so. He's in the Mayweather Promotions/PBC protection program.

Canelo got everything he wanted and he’s the rare free agent now. That wasn’t always the case. Wilder and Fury’s first fight happened when there wasn’t any kind of network dispute. They were able to do a joint network event and they lost millions of dollars doing it. Don’t expect that to happen again anytime soon.

Porter and Crawford are fighting on ESPN tomorrow. Porter forced the mandatory just like Davis could. Its a PPV. Both sides were satisfied with the deal. Competing networks. Competing promotional outfits. Davis could do the same. The very thing you say can't be done is happening tomorrow.

                  I disagree.

I disagree. He is about 300k. Again you can call it trash but that doesn’t change the fact what hits ppv is vastly different from the previous era and will remain so imo as long as they are profitable.

Who he is fighting is a quality opponent. Now would it have been a ppv headline in a previous era, absolutely not.

How does it kill the sport when each fight he has more viewers?

Yet Loma gets mad credit for beating the same caliber type of fighters just cause they held a title...

Loma gets credit because he was fighting guys with real titles, many of whom are STILL top ranked in their respective divisions. He retired Nicholas Walters, who beat Nonito Donaire (and that's a big scalp), made Rigo quit on his stool, who despite being a boring fighter, is still the top ranked super bantamweight, knocked out Gary Russell Jr, who's currently a world champ, etc. He didn't cherry pick guys with secondary belts. There's a world of difference between the level of competition there. Maybe Tank is the real deal, maybe not. We'll never know as long as Mayweather promotions keeps him out of the real fights in his divisions.
