Loma gets credit because he was fighting guys with real titles, many of whom are STILL top ranked in their respective divisions. He retired Nicholas Walters, who beat Nonito Donaire (and that's a big scalp), made Rigo quit on his stool, who despite being a boring fighter, is still the top ranked super bantamweight, knocked out Gary Russell Jr, who's currently a world champ, etc. He didn't cherry pick guys with secondary belts. There's a world of difference between the level of competition there. Maybe Tank is the real deal, maybe not. We'll never know as long as Mayweather promotions keeps him out of the real fights in his divisions.

Loma had to go in this direction. He was 106 years old when he quit fighting amateur and decided to go pro. He had to get up to the big stage fast. And he was obviously prepared and ready long ago. Tank is not 106. And has PLENTY of time to build a fine career. Lots of time to make his resume look like what all you haters want it to look like.

another thing to add to this...... ALL the talented fighters you want him to fight, are also young. RyGarcia, Haney, Teo, etc. None are fighting each other yet. But they will, and here's the double standard...... let's say Haney fights Teo tomorrow. And Haney wins by razor thin scorecard in a mega fight that was a split decision. If tank signed up to fight Teo next and tank destroyed him, y'all would talk about Teo as if he's damaged goods and he's shot fighter! It's just what people do! But yet right now, it's "ideal" for tank to fight him, in haters eyes.

There's no winning in these conversations. You all will never be happy with any fighter no matter who they fight.
