Crawford really irks me. Is he that dumb? Crawford, look at your resume and then look at Canelo's. Notice the names on your resume and then look at the names on Canelo's. If you can't understand why Canelo has been more successful.....then the best word to describe yourself, asides from dumb......is delusional.

He knocks him out in 1 round i would be highly impressed even five rounds but i expect late round stoppage in 10-12

Both HBO and ESPN pushed the background, getting shot etc but Crawford never pushed for the big fights. Loma who gets brought up accepted a pay cut to fight Teo.

Crawford refused pay cuts and that’s why many of his fights continue to be PPV flops.

in fact when Porter first pushed for the fight, Crawford was on some we friends hype.

Crawford had a chance at Pac but never accepted the money offered so the fight never got made. Boxing’s a business and deep down Crawford is cool with good paychecks fighting bums. Another Peter Quillin.

          Agree with all of this

I bet ESPN are mad at Crawford, they tried to push him every which way but Bud refused to do himself any favors and instead of doing interviews or staying relevant to the public he instead goes who knows where to hide. Even if he tries to go without a promoter after his contract is over with TR his going to have a hard time getting fights and it's almost guaranteed that he'll price himself out

To become undisputed at 140 lbs, Crawford beat Julius indongo, who has lost 3 out of his last 4 fights. Enough said. And Crawford has 100% priced himself out of tough fights.

Sure you have Terence. You've fought shot, drained and smaller fighters. That's very Caneloesque.

Refusing to help promote yourself on radio, podcasts, tv, interviews, etc... with people that don't overrate and suck you off doesn't help. Delusionally thinking you're the A side or deserve 50/50 to a guy that draws more and has more belts doesn't help. Thinking that beating Jeff Horn makes you the top welterweight doesn't help. The guy is a narcissist and delusional.

That's why....
Mayweather is the number one heel in boxing. He plays on negative stereotypes. And he was never embraced. He just used the hate to fuel his career. Tyson and Leonard were from the eighties, which was the brief period when black boxers were embraced in the American media. Pernell Whitaker was never embraced. Roy Jones Jr. was barely embraced and also had a hard time getting the biggest fights in his prime.

And Crawford is popular. He just doesn’t have the support of the American boxing media. So he doesn’t have enough leverage to be able to fight four times a year like GGG once did and Canelo continues to.

Y’all be killing me with the whole pocket watching debate. I don’t know how much Crawford gets paid to fight. I don’t care and neither should you. Negotiations happen behind closed doors. If its something that you can mention on a comment board then it’s probably bunk and definitely unverified from my perspective. And thats the only thing to say about that.

Detracting from his accomplishments by trying to minimize the fact that the man is a multi division titlist and the fifth fighter in history to ever become an undisputed champion shows a lack of appreciation for the sport in my opinion. But hey, thats just my opinion.

Jones barely embraced? Gtfoh! Pernell wasn't embraced because he was black, he was one of the most boring fighters in the last 30 years, that's why. Was Mosley embraced? How about Hopkins? And the multitude of black fighters that have been recently, Ennis is getting his props, and will continue to do so as he grows, Spence gets embraced, why, because they have a exciting style and fight good comp. And speaking the truth is not minimizing, besides Postol who was decent, there is no one else on Bud's resume that screams greatness, if there is, name them, I mean he beat Felix Diaz for the WBO title for crying out loud, yes Felix Diaz, where the hell is he nowadays, indogo got knocked out twice right after the Crawford fight, in the 2 round I might add, and went away. Picking up paper titles along the way does not make you great, it means you have excellent match making. I have to question your appreciation if you think that way of doing business is an actual accomplishment...

Pernell Whitaker was on the cover of Sport’s Illustrated for robbery in the fight against Julio Cesar Chavez. That’s as much as he got embraced. I guess thats what happens when you’re “boring”. You’re delusional if you think Hopkins, Mosley or Jones were embraced.Tito Trinidad was embraced. Oscar De La Hoya was embraced. Arturo Gatti was embraced. GGG was embraced. Tyson Fury is embraced. Etc.
