I won't begrudge him for making the most cash for the least effort. But he's not going to get sympathy for his frustration because HE re-upped with TR knowing all the great fights would have been against Haymon fighters. As far as the Pacquiao fight, to be fair, I think it was Manny who priced himself out to avoid Crawford?

The other negative for Crawford is that he has zero charisma. He also feels that the onus of promoting him is all on TR and that they're not doing a good job of it. That may be true, e.g. Arum referring to Terence as a money-losing investment, but Crawford needs to step up his self-marketing beyond arguments with car mechanics.

I also don't think it's about ethnicity. Are you saying that Ali, Frazier, Foreman, SRL, Hearns, Hagler, Whitaker, RJJ, etc, were not acknowledged as stars in the US? Fans in any market appreciate fighters who give something to the sport. i.e compelling fights. At welter, Crawford has done road apples. He needs to look in the mirror and get real. His sense of entitlement is a detriment to his legacy. Stop fighting subpar opponents for millions and then complain about not being a superstar!

I do agree that UK fans get behind their fighters more. But again, it's not about skin tone. PUt in the work and the fans will embrace you.

Canelo's resume is far superior to Crawford's.

And as a result Canelo's star power and fan base have become huge, among those that have his nationality as well as among those who don't.

It would be nice if Crawford's own people turned out in record numbers to see him fight but sadly they don't. And part of that is his fault for not doing more to increase HIS star power.

Him and Spence killed their careers. These guys were the most excitig boxers. Now us the fans are starting to forget. And boxing is owned by Fury and Canelo. Cuz they didn't switch to diva mode

That's because Canelo isn't being held back by a crappy promoter who can't get him any fights. Blame the promoter and not the fighter.

Crawford isn't the problem here.

It's quite easy to blame others. Isn't Crawford who set a huge price tag on his contract? An amount Bob Arum is not willing to pay any longer some time ago because Crawford Isn't selling the ppvs. Hasn't been Crawford the one who didn't bother to fight once a year as far as he gets a big cheque? I think it's a bit too late for him to go the route of free agent now, he's 35 or so and he doesn't have a huge fanbase either.

Crawford is the main problem here. He chose to be rich fast instead of building a name first by fighting high level opponents and more often.

Canelo is #1 P4P...PERIOD! In fact Canelo has separated himself from the pack by Unifying so NO Crawford beating Porter don't move him back to #1. Unifying 147 can get him #1 though for sure and it is going to be hard to do that if you're running around saying "Spence Fight Is Never Happening I'm Done..."

Boxing Fans and even some Boxers themselves have this sense of entitlement. Your Opinions are not Facts, they're merely your opinion and I think people really need to understand that.

The Cold Hard Truth...Canelo knows his worth, You DON'T or at least you Didn't when you re-signs with Top Rank when he could've became a Free Agent years ago. Arum don't give a damn about your opportunities or Legacy his job is the make fights that makes him $$$ and even he has said Crawford don't make him $$$ and went as far to say that he loses money on Bud and said that it is hard to get him on ESPN because ESPN is not interested in him.
