It is ! And I don’t pretend it isn’t wtf you talking about lol? Like I’ve said multiple times I’m proud to be Mexican, and proud to support my fellow Mexicans in the sport of boxing and guess what, any other sport too!!! I must be crazy right?

      Crawford isn't the problem here.
It’s absolutely Crawford’s fault. Arum had made many stars in boxing, you know who they are, and he’s got them big fights before they branched out on there own.

Fact is Crawford had not been willing to go out of his way to make the fights. To become a huge star, in the beginning you have to make concessions to get the ok right opponents in the ring. Crawford had refused to ever make concessions as he thinks he’s this megastar. But he can’t sell and is relative an unknown in the USA outside of boxing world.

Plus if Crawford didn’t like where Arum was taking his career he had the opportunity to leave years ago but instead renewed his contract.

Crawford just isn’t willing to take the risks to take his career where Canelo’s is. Now hes 34 years old and taking his first pseudo risk of a fight vs a starting to get long in the tooth Porter.

I also don't think it's about ethnicity. Are you saying that Ali, Frazier, Foreman, SRL, Hearns, Hagler, Whitaker, RJJ, etc, were not acknowledged as stars in the US? Fans in any market appreciate fighters who give something to the sport. i.e compelling fights. At welter, Crawford has done road apples. He needs to look in the mirror and get real. His sense of entitlement is a detriment to his legacy. Stop fighting subpar opponents for millions and then complain about not being a superstar!

I do agree that UK fans get behind their fighters more. But again, it's not about skin tone. PUt in the work and the fans will embrace you.
Not only is Crawford’s welterweight reign lame and several years old but so was his 140lbs reign. Yes he unified it but look at the guys he beat to unify. All lame paper champs who couldn’t win another title after. Real solid champs he beat there, lol lol lol.

GGG declined. This was after GGG said "anyone from 154 to 168 can get it". Tank is literally fighting across 3 different divisions and is annihilating tham all the same.

This proves my point exactl. Foriegn fighters always get more backing in general than the black American fighter. I could argue Jarmall Charlo has had a better career than GGG (undefeated, 2 div champ) yet GGG is held at a much higher pedestal.
Dude you can say what you want ... Tank will never top GGG nor will Charlo, the eye test will tell you this. GGG was a beast from the east, you dont have to be a boxing expert to see killer instinct and destruction that GG had. There are better black fighters than GGG, but not Charlo nor Tank.

But sure I dont disagree that all things being even, alot of people appear to prefer whites over blacks. I see this a lot and I'm white. You see this in movies - white actors are more popular with more paparazzi, in relationships - white guys/women are overall more chased. I don't think its right at all, but I see that white people appear to be on a pedestal a little more than other races. This includes Asians, Hispanics, Indians, Arabs, and of course indigenous people get very little love.

However with time we are becoming more and more accepting of all - it waves backwards sometimes, but overall we will intermarry and with time humans will lose races and ethnicities.

nah I don’t think you’re crazy as much as I think that you’re just simple minded and not intelligent whatsoever. On one end you wanna cry about any anti Canelo comments but then admit that you will hate on boxers strictly because they’re not Mexican which explains why a one track casual such as yourself would say that someone who has knocked out 11 of his last 12 opponents is somehow boring.

            • Bud needs some charisma. Let people get to know a little about his personality as it relates to boxing and that killer instinct. When your biggest PR event is going to a car repairman's shop and strong-arming your car back without paying your bill, you don't look like a hero, you look like an ******.

              • Well, I mean, Canelo at least actively seeks to fight the best boxers he can fight.

Canelo took the risk of Floyd Mayweather, Erislandy Lara, Gennady Golovkin, Sergey Kovalev, and the 1, 2, 3 ranked SMW boxers. He didn't just continue his career with his best win being Austin Trout for almost a decade.

So I don't know how he could be frustrated unless he is frustrated with himself that he didn't keep his ambition high after unifying 140.

If Crawford wanted what Canelo made for himself, after beating Joe Horn, Crawford would have fought Manny Pacquiao for the WBA super and Shawn Porter for the WBC titles. Instead of waiting until a sanctioning body ordered him to fight a top 5 WW. He'd be fighting Errol Spence Jr for undisputed, unified WW champion.

That's the equivalent of Canelo at 168 for Bud at 147. But instead, Crawford rested on his laurels with Viktor Postol as his best win from 2016 till now.

                • Being your own promoter is where it's at. Floyd gave them the blueprint . Why give the lions share of the money to a guy who isn't risking his life and health in the ring ?

That’s where you’re wrong, I don’t waste time and energy hating, I rather use my energy to support my fellow Mexicans boxers. Have I said hatefully sh.it maybe, but I’m sure that was in response or defense to either y’all hating on a Mexican boxer. So, there you have it. Me in a jiffy. I support, you hate… it’s what it is

your initial comment on here that wasn’t a response to anyone was you talking about how you wouldn’t spend your McDonald’s paycheck on Crawford’s fight because he’s boring. You can call him plenty of things but boring isn’t one. So once again you’re a proven hypocrite as you do waste energy hating, just like you also spend energy deep throating Mexicans.
