If he does, then he does

Canelo has proven he’s an excellent fighter. Plant will have proven it too.

Its not like Canelo hasn’t lost before. Most agree GGG beat him, Floyd did obviously. Jacobs gave him a very competitive fight.

He’ll lose again at some point, I’m sure. I don’t fancy Plant to beat him, but If he does, it doesn’t make Canelo’s achievements any less impressive, it just means Plant is a real top level fighter. He could be, he’s never had the big opportunity until now.

The problem with Loma is people were talking about him likes he’s seriously one of the best of all time, but he never really had the longevity or big wins to prove it.

Nobody really says Canelo is the greatest or most skilled of all time, most just consider him one of the very best of his era.

I think "gift decisions" get thrown around too much, Canelo has had some close fights where he got the nod, but that isn't some sort of robbery, had they given him the nod against Floyd, that would have been a robbery, but these were simply close fights that Canelo got the nod on.

If he loses he loses. He kept on going up in weight and challenged every champion for their title at 168. No shame on that, Loma lost when he went up in weight also so I don't know why some are so hard on the fighters when they loose. Boxing is the theater of the unknown.

Then good for Plant and he'll go down in history. Prob have a rematch for more than 10mill guaranteed for him, something closer to 15/20mill

Would Canelo get the same treatment if he were to lose this weekend?
Who looks at Loma as average now?

Out of those 4, Lara was the only in his prime fighter. Cotto was at the end of his career. Kov was a shell of himself, and Jacobs hasnt fought a high level opponent since his loss to Saul

Elaborate because i've been watching boxing a very long time and I know some people thought Lara won, but others thought Canelo won, that doesn't make Canelo's win a gift or a robbery towards Lara.

                      - -Cotto the Ring Champ and Kov Ring #1 and nobody but the usual nitwits care what Danny did after Canelo, but point in fact he KOed Chavez Jr. in the middle of the Corona Panic.

Lady Lara? U on the wrong forum.
