Fury has shown he can't be relied on about anything. Usyk now has another big money fight. Win-Win for him.

Rematch clause is ridiculous in a mandatory. But:

      1. He gets paid big twice if he wins twice.
      2. If he fights twice, i'll watch both anyway
      3. He can still fight for undisputed later, if he wins the second time.

Uh, cause Joshua's either the biggest draw in the sport or close to it.

Ok here are the numbers,Usyk got 30% of AJs 10 mil guarantee,Plus 40% of revenue, which amounts to $50 mil for AJ & 15 mil for Usyk or iow a 70-30 split,so I'm assuming the rematch Usyk will likely get around 35- 40% because Hearn is a shyster, compare that to if Usyk faced Fury instead where it's a 50-50 split & likely a bigger purse & for Undisputed.

Well now he gets two money fights with Josh which will increase his star power going into a fight with Fury now.

Like I said... It worked in his favor unless Fury becomes a crackhead again.

Offered a bigger split if he did.

Also he was probably always going to fight AJ again if he won as it's by far the biggest fight available.

How is it a bigger purse? Americans aren't going to buy Fury-Usyk like they did Wilder and Joshua is a bigger draw than Fury in the UK. It would make less than the Joshua rematch.

Seriously, even if he could have opted out, why would he?

I know. I don't understand why people think he wouldn't want the rematch anyway. Joshua is a massive draw and a massive pay day. Usyk's not going to walk away from that to fight someone like Robert Helenius for buttons in comparison. Nash out.

Because a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush. AJ will get lions share still,v Fury he would likely get a bigger payday & be guaranteed a shot at undisputed. We don't even know he wins rematch,& v Fury they could fight in SA for shttons of money
