These guys are greedy. My main reason for getting DAZN over two years ago were to secure the Canelo fights and a few others at a bargain. But then Canelo jumped ship and as a boxing fan, I felt cheated. And I certainly did not get my money's worth during the pandemic. I'm going to cancel my subscription - hopefully, along with others. I rather Hearn gets $0.

They need to charge $10 per month. This is worse than having an HBO subscription. With HBO, along with the boxing content, you also got movies and special programming. And PPV boxing would air their big events the following week.

The content on DAZN is crap. The very few old classic matches they offer, I can find on YouTube for free.

I'm going to cancel my subscription, and continue to watch my PPV cards at my local sports bar.

Business must be running very slowly nowadays at DAZN. I knew that this new business model wasn't going to work out because boxing is simply just not as popular as it was some 20 years ago.

The irony is when Eddie first arrived stateside three years ago to push DAZN; He boasted that the pay-per-view business model was now but all obsolete. So what happened Eddie? Why the sudden change of heart?

It looks to me that DAZN is on it's way out of business.because there is lack of demand for it among casual fans on the web.Which is why they are forced to put some cards on pay-per-view

Why is it that sports really make it hard for the fans to follow them without being ripped off? It's goodbye to DAZN for me as soon as this bs is applied. The only thing going for DAZN is the price. The player sucks, the highlights etc are quite poorly made. The documentary type clips and videos are just full of dull hype without any substance and doesn't actually bring the fighters or their training any closer to the fan. 1.99 is a great price for the content but 7.99 is heavily overpriced. The content just isn't there to make it worth it. If they take away current fights then there's really no reason I can see to subscribe at all. What is there at that point? Replays and some radio shows. You can listen to better podcasts for free. It seems that directors and businessmen have no idea how to cater to fans anymore. It's always about offering the minimum quality for maximum price but wrapped in a fancy wrapper to cover the truth. You just offend your potential customers with this horsedung. I think this idea of luring in subscribers with a good deal just to turn in later on into a bad deal is going to backfire real bad.

I like the service but I ain't paying these prices - especially as the plan is to lower the content quality and selection even further. SMH

Paying guys 7,10, 12 and $15 Mil dollars per fight is lot of money to pay; Especially online, if you are not selling selling enough subscriptions in order to cover those fighter's purse and cost.

Does anyone actually PAY for PPV anymore? Lol must be about 20 years or more since I paid for a fight ….actually I think the last fight I actually paid for was Tyson vs Lewis, so not quite 20 years. I refuse to pay those absorbent prices when I can find a free stream…seems kinda ridiculous!

Well yes and no; It all depends who is fighting but casual fans do purchase pay-per-views.

Haymon and Hearn literally followed the same blueprint. Overpay mediocre fighters throwing the industry into flux. Parade catchy slogans like "Free boxing" and "PPV is dead". Get exposed as frauds and charlatans. I hope they both die in a fire.

The difference between Haymon and Hearn is that Haymon doesn't do guarantees. He does percentages of the fights total gross.which is smart. Eddie, on the other hand does do guarantees which will inevitably strain and deplete all of DAZN's resources..

didn't take long. I saw the sky run in to Christmas as well it's all f***n' 3:30am bar 2 shows. Boxing is about to implode and less and less people are paying for these things legitimately
