Golovkin took too many liberties. Maybe it was all about money and Canelo was the golden ticket.. who knows. With the skills, power and durability you'd think he would have competed clear up to cruiserweight.

you have no clue what prime is and age has a large part to do with it. Some peoples prime ends sooner than others while others can still be effective even past their prime but nobody is in their physical prime at 35. Doesn’t mean that they’re still not capable, but definitely not in their prime. Unfortunately for canelo, all of his biggest wins were against 35 and older opposition. And for ggg, he definitely wasn’t prime at 35. He had 350 amateur fights and 37 pro fights by the time canelo fought him. Have some sense. You can move the goal post all you want but canelo has not beaten one hall of fame worthy fighter while they were still in their prime. He didn’t even get a real win vs an old ggg.

there’s so much ******ity in what you wrote, it’s not even worth fully addressing. I’m not defending who ggg has faced. But canelo ran from mw to fight a bunch of lower level uk/white guys at 168. One of the lamest move up in weights in boxing.

nobody makes offers to Canelo? Then how do his fights get made? Dazn tried to make the Andrade fight and Canelo passed on fighting all together so that he could wait for old Kovalev to fight and then pick up his washed up scraps just 10 weeks later. And pbc made that offer I mentioned earlier but Canelo declined. The same pbc who made Canelo the offer to face plant which he is now doing. Stop making excuses. With Callum, once he got a gift against a C level Ryder, everyone knew he was really not that good and basic. Which is exactly when Canelo suddenly became interested in making the fight. Canelo is known to wait to see vulnerability before taking fights. As far as what ggg hasn’t done since then, that’s fine, Canelo still hasn’t been able to get a clear win that isn’t surrounded by controversy over him.
