Straight comedy.
Canelo haters throw any crap against the wall hoping something will stick. You bring up Derevyanchenko when he's another guy who dragged his feet turning down career high money but was willing to accept less to face GGG. The Charlo fight was never even mandated and Charlo made it public at the time that he wasn't pushing for it, with his own people saying their side turned it down.
And how are you going to compare GGG to Marquez when GGG has never shown that kind of ambition. We would have never seen those Pac-Marquez rematches if Marquez demanded an even split like GGG or no fight, Pac would've rightfully told him to kick rocks like most A sides in that situation. So again, Canelo went above and beyond giving GGG and inflated payday that was more money than he could refuse and beating him at his own game. He didn't owe him anything after that but still came back and offered the trilogy only to have him decline. Meanwhile Banks not only said they wanted scrub Szeremeta next, they also wanted another fight after that (which they still haven't gotten in) then maybe they'd consider Canelo. But somehow according to haters, Canelo was supposed to put his career on hold waiting until next year as GGG fights scrubs, instead of busily unifying to become the first undisputed at 168.
You know you lost the plot with your narratives when you're hating on the guy fighting more champs than anyone while hyping up guys happy to waste years in their primes fighting stiffs as a first option.
