Gobshyte Whyte better concentrate on Wallin first - victory is by no means a given.

Of course he hasn't heard anything from Fury about making the fight - it's just 48 hours since Fury won - he's partying in Paris not thinking about some mouthy contender.

Up until the very last punch Wilder was still in the fight and decked Tyson when everyone thought he'd gone. This only tells me Whyte would have been looking for a way out many rounds before. Look at Joshua Ruiz 1 after being knocked down ,what turned out to be the final time Joshua got up shaking his head and put his arms on the ropes and didn't respond to the ref telling him to fight on .Wilder went out on his shield and fighters like Joshua and Whyte will simply never know what great fighters like Ali, fraizer, foreman, Fury and the likes sometimes did . Mike Tyson was another from the Joshua , Whyte ilk having NEVER got up to win a fight after suffering a knock down but then some may argue that the punishment he took in the Buster Douglas fight makes it a little better......I think so but then he knew in that situation he wouldn't win hence the previous comments. Wilder was brave in all three fights like him or not and I don't!

i dont like seeing fights stopped early, but yeah, he took a lot of punishment there and in the previous fight too. Those were the kind of sustained beatings that can have long term effects, hopefully not in this case.

P perhaps those of u with slow motion can go backwards and look at all the pathetic wwe type knockdowns. Pay attention to the # of times the ref allowed punches while in a headlock and the. Warnings ( none) or points deducted(none). What a great Academy Awards type of performance by both actors. Opps I mean boxers.

I don't think CTE really works like that. Its more attrition. When these fighters end up punch drunk its usually because they've been fighting for way too long rather than being in one or two wars.

Wilder definitely took unnecessary punishment in there but it's the way he wanted to go out. People saying he had a puncher's chance, I don't think he did after a certain point, maybe after the 7th round? He was not going to stop Fury with the arm punches he was throwing because he had no legs whatsoever.

And I still can't get over how poor his balance and legs are. I know we were talking about his lack of roadwork in another thread but it looks like that finally came to a head. He's been so used to fighting at his own pace because the respect others had for his power and Fury and Sugar Hill made the brilliant tactical decision to press him and push the pace. Add to fact that the legs are usually the first thing to go on a fighter and I have to think that if Wilder fights on, he will need to choose his opponents very carefully.

Idk if Whyte can beat Fury, he's a more skilled boxer than Wilder, but Idk if he could've beaten Wilder, even. What people cannot appreciate is that Fury isn't just a good fighter, he's a great one. Wilder has victories against fighters that were technically more proficient than himself, bc he had an equalizer of a right. Fury negated it and exposed him. Whether or not Whyte wouldve, who knows, and I dont wanna make it a race thing, but think Wilder respected Whyte and AJ more as fighters than Fury, and thats why he ducked 'em. I think the two best now are Fury and Usyk, and if Whyte earns a shot he should be given it.

PLEASE DELETE THIS IT IS ****** Because Pac s greater often cited as top 3 ATG. Floyd has to rematch Canelo at 160 to break into top 10ATG. Yes, it's a difficult ask but nobody ever said being a higher echelon ATG is easy.
Floyd should be ashamed of himself Pac has fought so many common opponents, being a former flyweight

Didn't realise there were so many doctors on this site.

Listen, you soft sissified pukes, the doctor checked him and said he was fine to continue. You're the reason we have early stoppages. You're the reason we no longer have exciting heart-pounding 15 rounders. You're the reason people think boxing is all about pansies like Mayweather winning on points. Who cares what he sounds like when he's 40 or becomes a stuttering, mumbling wreck in his later years - that's boxing. It's a CHOICE and people watch it to be entertained. Cut off your balls and wear a dress if you think boxing is too brutal.
