Any "strategy" Scott's mediocre ass came up with was destined to fail for 3 reasons. 1. Wilder can't box. 2. The weight lifting. 3. The weight gain. Deontay was huffing and puffing by round 5, and that's without Fury roughing him up to the extent he did last time. So yet again, Wilder was reduced to throwing cuffing/slapping shots on the inside, and wind-milling from distance again.
Horrbile strategy by Malik Scott, truly horrible!

The start was hilarious. Wilder body punching Fury, lol, I was just looking what is going on here.
Well, the plan was clearly try to land a big right hand, as usual.Comment

I thought the plan was good. He knew he couldn't win a long fight. So he tried to do something early. Hit to the body, and then target the head when his hands drop.He asks a big heavyweight like Wilder to throw 30 jabs to the body, 10 right hands to the body in the first two rounds. Are you kidding me? That's why Wilder gassed out so early. Lightweights don't go to the body that many times using straight punches cause it's so tiring. Horrible, horrible tactic especially for somebody who gasses and gets pushed down. You just killed his legs having him bents so low to throw these body jabs. Malik Scott ain't ****
Unfortunately for him, Fury stood back and figured things out pretty quickly.
Strategy doesn't really matter when you're that far off the level of your opponent. It's a gaping gap between them.
For all the talk of how great this fight was or how great the trilogy has been, Fury has always been levels above Wilder.Comment

I mean he did better than he did in the second fight at least so there's that. If nothing else he was telling him the right things and keeping his spirits up. At the end of the day though I think that even if you resurrected Emmanuel Steward and Angelo Dundee and put them in Wilder's corner, he probably just still wouldn't have what it takes to beat Fury without an ample serving of luck. I give Wilder a ton of credit for a brave performance but at the end of the day Fury proved once and for all that he has his number.Comment

His falling over himself trying to land that right will take up much of his highlight vid.
Wilder is a lil more coordinated than NBA players when it comes to hands.Comment
