If he gets knocked out by AJ, which is 99% likely, then his heavyweight career is over as it’s obvious he’s too small for the division. The dude went life and death with chisora ffs. Plus he’s 34 years old, soon to be 35 in couple of months, and had a lot of fights amateur and professional. And he’s achieved everything at cruiserweight so what would be the point moving back down plus he’s put on a lot of weight now so don’t see him wanting to rid all that.

This could be it, AJ sending Ukrainian fighters into retirement.

When Usyk loses the only way he gets a big fight is getting back in a mandatory position which will take years. He will retire.

that said, AJs gameplan Was horrific. If he puts weight back on and does the Chisora tactics for the rematch then he can get the KO, but he needs to go forward and just lay it on Usyk instead of being scared and tentative

I didn't think Usyk would get a decision even after a dominant win (was worried after that Hatton bull****). Either way, I thought AJ would get outboxed but get to him around the 8th but Usyk did the job tonight, he has to be up there in the p4p rankings. Undisputed cruiserweight and unified heavyweight champ in 19 fights, great fighter.

I just don't see Usyk winning this one, a couple of years ago maybe but AJ is on HIGH ALERT now and he will take Usyk dead seriously.

With Usyk's lack of pop and lack of size and physical strength AJ doesn't have to put on a masterclass he should be able to just "big man" Usyk out of the fight.
