I honestly feel Whyte can fight whoever he wants. His resume is so much better than Hunter. I need to see more from Hunter and his team before I buy into Whyte ducking him.

Obviously, no one is getting a shot at titles anytime soon unless your name is Usyk or Wilder, so they all need fights. But one of these guys has a ton more to prove than the other.

I like Hunter. Enjoy watching him fight. He had a nice run with a competitive loss to Usyk at CW, wins over Bakole and Kuzmin and fought Povetkin to a draw.

Him opting not to fight Hrgovic was disappointing but I guess he preferred to fight guys like Mike Wilson for more money on Triller than to fight an eliminator for less.

Hunter is a unique guy and he seems to want to do things his way. God bless him but I think it will be a difficult path to secure meaningful fights.

If Shyte wants to make a splash in America he has to choose an opponent who he has a risk of losing against.

Don't expect to gain respect by coming over here for a showcase fight.

You must be a big Hunter fan but come on did you see he told another lie in his interview, he lies all the time unfortunately.

Dillian Whyte fought in America on Crawford vs Indongo undercard beating american journeyman Malcolm Tann back in 2017.

                Hrgovic probably will fight Kaybayel.

So he wanted to get the WBC belt then fight AJ from a much stronger bargaining position.
Yes this was Whytes issue regarding the rematch clause, the fight was being negotiated at a 70/30 split or something along them lines and if whyte won the split terms of the rematch was still heavily favouring AJ rather then the traditional 70/30 winners way in rematch, eddie and AJ didnt budge so Whyte opted to go down the wbc route with the hope of eventually fighting in a unification as youve stated.

What was a lie to you? I like Hunter, him and Chisora are my favorite HWs but I try to be impartial in my assessments.

He turned down the eliminator. He obviously saw Hrgovic as a big enough risk that the purse and ranking position wasn't worth it. He also seems to be wary of shenanigans that the promoter might try to pull with him as the B-Side in that.

I think it's important to understand context. His dad was a journeyman spoiler who won alot of fights against notable opponents but was also done dirty by the sport (his loss to Botha being one of them). His dad was a small HW and didn't have alot of power so he had to rely on the judges of hometown fighters to get the win. Witnessing that first hand probably gives him a bit of fear of it happening to him.

There are some posters here that blindly defend their favorite fighter and hate on anyone else. I'm not that. I don't think my favorite fighters are perfect or invincible. Did he lie? I dunno man, maybe he did. Things in life aren't always black and white and sometimes it just a matter of interpretation and opinion of those involved.

Hunter doesn't think Dillian deserves a title shot because... He hasn't fought everybody? What a moron. No one in the division has done more to deserve a shot at a title like Whyte. No one. And it isn't even close. Parker, Chisora x2, Rivas, Povetkin... Yeah, he's done more than anybody else to get a shot.

Dillian wasn't in an eliminator against Povetkin. He was already mandatory. He got that by beating Rivas in the eliminator.

Eddie isn't willing to put his guys in there against you? So Povetkin and Hrgovic aren't his guys? This dude is all the way embarrassing himself now.

Hunter just wants a pay cheque against Whyte, nothing more. For all the ducking and going back on his word, he should be told to go and take a hike. He doesn't deserve it. Add that to all his lies, then you've got someone who you really shouldn't be getting involved with. We do not want another Wilder situation on our hands. Ignore this freak and keep it moving.
