They picked Travis Kauffman, typical team Ortiz, tease a good fight then fight a can.
Shyte is the one that talks the talk about Ortiz.

But when it comes time to actually walk the walk he's nowhere to be found.

It's undeniable that if he really wants to make some noise in America then a fight against Luis Ortiz would be the perfect way to do that.

The OP always shoots himself in the foot making troll threads and it always backfires on him . Reading most the replies one would think he would have abandon his losing agenda on here .

Whyte offered the fight to Ortiz who wanted silly money.
Come on doe. Let's see things as it is.

Showtime and Fox need to step up and make this fight happen.
No sense in hating, make things happen, instead.

Whyte has a far better resume than Ortiz. I'm not even a Whyte fan but I don't get this Ortiz is a bogeyman deal.

            What is silly money?

How much do you think Andy Ruiz is going to want?

Ortiz made $7 million in the Wilder 2 fight according to Coppinger.
I don't think he would accept $500K offer from Hearn.

Ball is in Fox' court now. They made the embarrassing Ortiz vs Flores fight last year.
A fight that only lasted less than 2 minutes with Ortiz making a few dance steps.
Embarrassing because they hyped the fight like it's a huge fight for Luis.

I don't expect Showtime to overpay Ortiz again. The Ortiz/Wilder 2 didn't make sense for them.

Fun fight, but does nothing for Whyte really. Isn’t a great win nor is it great money. Ortiz needs to be relevant and has done his best to avoid being so

Not gonna criticise Whyte for not taking it, considering Whyte has a fairly good resume compared to most. I imagine he’ll be fighting someone like Hughie Fury for the promotional value… future potential fight against Tyson. Not a great fight, but resume-wise, neither is Ortiz

Would have thought a Martin or a Arreola would be Ortiz’s type of opponent

Don't know how much Ruiz would want in a Ortiz fight.
He basically ducked Ortiz. Or maybe they both want silly money,
                  which PBC can't afford.

It's actually Shyte who's looking at Arreola. Coming off a loss.

But not Luis Ortiz coming off a win. I wonder why?

Don't know why it's hard for you to understand.
He's not there because he's known for over valuing himself.
He wanted $10 mil in the Joshua fight. Man that's some greed.
