Other than getting sparked out by Wilder twice, what has Ortiz done to be called out? By anyone?

When the phone rang to fight AJ what did Ortiz do? He said no. When Ruiz' phone rang, he said yes. Ruiz in talks with Martin. Other PBC HWs seem to be trying to make fights.

Whyte has a far better resume than Ortiz. I'm not even a Whyte fan but I don't get this Ortiz is a bogeyman deal.

Whyte is a loud mouth and talks alot of rubbish. Povetkin caught the covid before the rematch with Whyte. Nobody knew how long Povetkin was going to be out and it was delayed twice (November and December). After the second delay, he opened his mouth and said if Povetkin was going to need alot of time to recover, he'd like an interim fight in February. He mentioned Ortiz name. Ortiz verbally accepted. In February, his rematch with Povetkin was announced.

If you want to say Whyte called out Ortiz and didn't follow up to make the fight, sure he did that. He fought the guy who he was intended to fight (the guy who sparked him) a month later than the interim fight he was talking about.

I don't rate Whyte high and I don't particularly like him. I don't recall ever pulling for him in a fight. I just don't subscribe to the narrative that anyone is avoiding Luis Ortiz.

I like the fight honestly. Neither is relevant but neither is totally shot goods either. I’d favor Ortiz since Whyte is basically just a guy who stays relevant to Brits by running his mouth about everyone he wishes would give him a nice payday. Ortiz is probably 60 years old but he’s better than Whyte.

Silly Billy I’m not the one in the thunderdome pleading with posters to read garbage and lies you post ,the way I get to you is very simple , I stick to real topics and beat you easy and expose guys like you ,right here in actual discussions stating facts while you have to scramble and rearrange things to fit your argument but you know this already ?

1) The fact that you continue to call a fighter Shyte and not his actual name shows an immediate bias, so there is no value in debating this with someone who obviously has a disliking for the fighter. 2) Whyte could revisit the matchup, however there are always hurdles when one promotional banner negotiates with another banner. Sure we can say that Whyte isn't under contract with Matchroom or DAZN and sure we can say Haymon isn't a promoter but it's not quite that clear if we are being honest. 3) We don't realistically know where Ortiz is pricing himself at for fights. We do know that he turned down a fight with AJ and we do know that he's been keeping busy fighting the Alexander Flores of the division.

You are placing the responsibility solely on Whyte to make a fight with a guy who, other than Wilder, has been incapable of fighting any other relevant names under his promotional banner. Like I said I don't even like Whyte. I expect him to fight Jermaine Franklin because that's an easy fight to make and he should have no problem blowing him out in spectacular fashion for his US entry....as bad as Franklin is, he isn't Alexander Flores.
