    deluded once again I see
Mayweather was never a natural attraction. He always undersold until he left Arum and fought Oscar.

Gatti always sold out by comparison.

That $50m I quoted was the apparent bomb lol. That's what he did against McGregor and it was considered a disappointment. Fifty ****ing million

There is a difference between healthy skepticism and always having something negative to say when the success of a certain fighter is mentioned. Anthony Joshua has been selling out arena’s in the UK for years. Why at this point in his career would anyone question the authenticity of the stats of his ticket sells unless they were much less than they should be? It doesn’t make a lot of sense. And comes off as just plain old bias.

Good for him. He puts bums on seats consistently. It's impressive.

Hence why you have Mayweather fights making ****** money on gate revenue...**** like $50m.
It's not a difference in the countries. It's a difference in approach.

Put a fight in a small stadium with limited tickets and charge through the roof for them. Then put it on PPV with a high price point.

You'll make money but you're shrinking the sport. Every time you do that you lose a few more fans who can't access the fight.

Joshua has huge appeal because normal people get to watch his fights in person and through a more reasonably priced PPV.

how long has mcgregor been a professional boxer and trying to compare a ppv clown show between a boxer and MMA fighter shows you know **** all.
your ignorant and you really have no concept about Joshua and his selling power and also the curiosity on how usyk will perform in this fight.
usyk has already debuted on ppv on sky with chisora so the U.K. know how skilled this guy is.......it’s also been quite some time since fans have been allowed to pack in a stadium fight and they are itching to see a big event
unlike America muppet the U.K. loves big time boxing and will pay the money to go see it.
The states on the other hand has turned into some kind of social media freak show with boxing and MMA and the fans would much rather pay to see that **** show......no wonder why your country is slowly being destroyed by Chinese and ******* woke brigade and boxing is dying more everyday.
It’s a shame because there was a time when boxing from America made the world stop and watch it but now it’s just a fading memory.
Take your sour ass and go sit and have dinner with arum u2 have much in common numb nuts

I know the ******ity of these people cannot see it......it’s a failing model and they still are trying to flog a dead horse and that is exactly why Joshua and sky do big numbers and the exact opposite of ppv in the states.
HBO bailed out for exactly those reasons and yet you still have arum , pbc still trying to do it....and the fighters are the ones who lose out because of poor sales and the likes of Crawford , spence , Davis are not even selling 200k in a country of over 330 million.....it’s shocking

I doubt Fury can even sell out the o2 at this point with the way his stock has plummeted with most Brits in the last few months. He’s back to being the scamming gypo fraud he was post-Wlad and most fans can see through him now. Wilder on the other hand is a loudmouthed idiot who wouldn’t be able to sell out a small arena with 5k people.

Josh made only one career mistake with the US fight. If he had made the move with a more experienced promoter who isn’t as greedy as Hearn - he’d be on the level Mike Tyson was in his prime. Hearn’s greed and lack of experience messed it up. But he’s still the biggest name in boxing by a mile.
Canelo is the biggest name universally than AJ by a mile. HW? Yes….biggest name in boxing by a mile? Nope that belongs to Canelo hands down
