Had they fought better opponents, they would see the kind of interest that AJ sees and fill up the stands. but they also would have been beaten or KOed by now had they fought better opponents so go figure. If you build it, they will come. Fury has fought only 4 opponents in the current top 50 and two of those opponents were Chisora and Hammer. Yet he has conned you all into thinking he is the best. He's not. And the lack of interest in his trilogy fight with Wilder (another fraud) shows. Maybe in stead of laying around calling people "dosser", he should be instead training and fighting regularly. Maybe he should not sit on the belt for 2 years. Maybe he shouldn't fake covid just because he is getting beat up in sparring. Maybe he should go ahead and face the anti doping agency in the UK so that he can fight over there. Then maybe, juuuust maybe, he can get people to show up to his fights like AJ does.
Josh is the biggest name in boxing, don’t compare him to those two bummy twats.

I doubt Fury can even sell out the o2 at this point with the way his stock has plummeted with most Brits in the last few months. He’s back to being the scamming gypo fraud he was post-Wlad and most fans can see through him now. Wilder on the other hand is a loudmouthed idiot who wouldn’t be able to sell out a small arena with 5k people.

Josh made only one career mistake with the US fight. If he had made the move with a more experienced promoter who isn’t as greedy as Hearn - he’d be on the level Mike Tyson was in his prime. Hearn’s greed and lack of experience messed it up. But he’s still the biggest name in boxing by a mile.

This is not the case either. Boxing is very much a sport of high rollers in America, doesn't necessarily mean there aren't viewers. There is really no reason to stage fights in stadiums when you can do them in the MGM Grand and charge 5k a pop. Hence why you have Mayweather fights making ****** money on gate revenue...**** like $50m.

I love how haters always say “bots bought all the tickets, they didn’t really sell out”. people use bots for everything dummy. Try buying a new pair of Jordans online the day they drop & watch what happens - they sell out in minutes & yes people use bots to get an edge on everyone else. The reason bots are used is because of the high demand. People know that people want shht so bad they’ll pay double or more.

ask yourself this: How come fights like Fury Wilder, Pac Spence, etc. aren’t selling out in a day? You can literally go online and buy tickets to both of those fights and they’ve been on sale for how long? Why aren’t bots being used for their fights? Because the demand isn’t there.

Give credit where it’s due. Joshua puts asses in seats. On fight night those seats will be filled with people who paid not bots.

Well this is the question. Pacquio is an established all time great with a massive audience in the Phillipines and across asia. His tickets don't sell out in 24 hours. And thats a fight between some of the biggest names in boxing. Yet I'm meant to believe this fight against Usyk (who no one rates for some reason) is selling out in 24 hours???

          ...nah.

I think this is an intentional puff piece meant to drum up interest in a fight casuals aren't all that hyped for.

Joshua didn't sell out the Povetkin when they hype for him was massive in 2018. And against Usyk, who no one really rates at heavyweight, they sell out in 24 hours???? With covid too??? Hmmm

Sounds like something thats being artificially inflated to make it seem like there is more interest in this fight than there actually is. I'm not yet convinced.

As said before, the key to Joshua is the feeling you're on board a hype train. I think a lot of his casual fanbase buys into the fact that he's popular, I'm not entirely sure they actually find him actually compelling. Hence why half the comments in here about Fury and Wilder lol.
Let's say you are right (really you're not). So what do you say when it's fight night and there is a capacity crowd? Is that artificially inflated? Or are you just a guy that has sour g****s? They gave tickets away to some of Fury's fight here in the USA and the trilogy fight still has plenty of tickets available right now. also, the reason why the casual fans find AJ compelling is because he fights the best guys out there. Not like Wilder and Fury who fight the biggest bums they can find.

But yet Fast Eddie will find every excuse not to stage the biggest fight in UK History btw two British fighters in the UK despite the tremendous fan support. You can do a rematch elsewhere but for historical significance, Joshua-Fury 1 belongs in the UK.

If Manny fought in the Philippines or anywhere in Asia, he would sell out. But he doesn't. Pretty easy answer. Also go back and look at some of the audience numbers from AJ's past fights. It didn't matter who he fought, the fight sold out. This fight is against another Olympic Gold medalist, during the actual Olympics so it should be easy to see why it sold out. ...Unless you are a massive hater that is...

Fury cannot fight in the UK until he has cleared up the nandrolone thing. Not Hearn's fault

Its a pity that american pro stadiums are so damn small. I dont get why either.
