Put a fight in a small stadium with limited tickets and charge through the roof for them. Then put it on PPV with a high price point.

You'll make money but you're shrinking the sport. Every time you do that you lose a few more fans who can't access the fight.

Joshua has huge appeal because normal people get to watch his fights in person and through a more reasonably priced PPV.

I wouldn’t say either shrink the sport. Places like LA, Cali New York etc are just expensive places. There are still tickets available the day before big fights in Vegas so it’s not like people can’t go if they want to. I wouldn’t say people are priced out either, you should no what expect if you’re travelling to a super fight in Vegas, New York etc

I’ve been to fights in Vegas were I’ve paid 4 figures and then big fights in places like Texas were I’ve only paid $50. Same with the UK you can pay £40 and attend a big fight. It’s just certain strategies work better for different events. Look at the fight camp cards last week, they were charging like £700 for a ticket.

So on fight night, that isn't actual fans in the stadium, they're actually bots? AJ doesn't sell out?

If fans are willing to pay 2/3 times the normal ticket price and still sell out, doesn't that prove he's a huge ticket seller?

I know you're trying to play it down due to being bitter, but you completely made a dogs dinner of it didn't you?

Those "fans" are actually holograms you know.

Stubhub buys tickets then can't sell them on and so Hearn has holographic projectors built into the stadium to make it look full to save face, he's been doing it for years. Stubhub keep losing money hand over fist on these AJ tickets, when will they learn?

Fury and Wilder selling 10k tickets proves they are far more popular than AJ selling 70k, that's just logic.

This fight is better than any fight you put on the in the US. All you do is put shlte on over there and charge ****** money for it. But then again, if you have that many idiots willing to...

As for the sour comment... That's irony at it's finest. Only ****** people can achieve this level.

Apart from Mayweather, none of those guys are better boxers than AJ. Manny is a legend but when he was at AJ’s stage in his career - he was getting put to sleep by average boxers. PED elevated him to where he’s now. I might give you Manny because he’s a legend.

There’s nothing amazing about Canelo apart from being caught using PED twice and stealing at least 2 fights he clearly lost. Anyone would look invincible if allowed to roid up and pick euro bums to knock off. Wilder made a career out of doing that - the only difference is that he picked American bums.

I like Crawford but can you name the big names he has fought in his division? You have to fight decent opponents to be amazing - something Crawford is yet to do. The same is applicable to Inoue. Who has he fought?

So what has that got to do with marketing and promoter? The man won his gold medal by himself. Became a great boxer through hard work and dedication. All the accolades have absolutely nothing to do with marketing but who he’s as a person. He’s self-made. And people just appreciate his greatness.

He was always gonna be a superstar even if he had promoted himself. And the only thing that would’ve held him back is losing. Hearn is just lucky he fell on his lap and he built an empire off Josh’s back. Not the other way around. And that’s why all the other promoters inherently hate Hearn and want AJ to lose.
            I agreed with your points
            But
Ya Lost me on *There's nothing amazing about Canelo* part
Nah..You lost the argument right there & then
Canelo is one of the best boxers in this era

I’m an AJ fan, but since his loss to Ruiz he doesn’t rate any better than #2 to Fury.

Just highly skeptical of it all. It’s not past Eddie Hearn to innovate and hire 3rd party bots to purchase remaining tix to artificially bring needed interest to this fight.

Eddie was happy to do the fight in the UK if both athletes were willing to take less money. They both decided on the bigger payday.

It's all well and good to have the fight over here. I understand it. But to take a cut of 10's of millions to do so? Are you saying you'd do the same?

So he should price out fans and sell the tickets for a lot more?

How is that working for you lot over there? In fact, how is working for you lot when you're giving thousands of tickets away for free? Still can't get people to go to those joke fights between cowards.

AJ selling out a stadium in 24 hours is a job well done. It doesn't need a comparison to the business model is in Vegas. Sixty thousand fans have paid to watch a boxing match; that's good for the sport and long may it continue. Let's hope for a good fight.
