I always thought Joe Joyce ****** and he does

Reminds me of Froch. Looks awkward and unskilled at times but finds a way to win based on strength, power, toughness and stamina.Comment

Hes my favourite fighter at HW probably. I just love the fact that he fails the eye test miserably but gets results anyway, and against a solid level of opposition too. The size, durability and pressure takes peoples souls as the fight goes on. Hes a big boxing zombie.Comment

Joyce gets the job done, and seems oblivious to punches. But let's be honest: who has he beaten?
Jennings may be his best win, and that says it all. And Joyce didn't manage to knock him out.
Stiverne's last decent performance was in the first Wilder fight. After that, he became an obese journeyman.
Dubois caught our attention with all those knockouts, but he may be rather overrated (my jury is still out).
Takam is old, worn-out, deprived of a real knockout punch. And that was a premature stoppage, although the end would probably come shortly thereafter.
I envision Fury, Joshua and Wilder all stopping Joyce. An in-form Fury would throw ten punches in the time span of a single Joyce punch.Comment

Joyce is perhaps the strongest fighter in the Heavyweight division. He just eat punches while walking his opponents down in the process.
It was only a matter of time before he would have gotten to Takam anyhow. Carlos was winning the fight before the stoppage but one can easily tell that he was gassing quickly.
Landing power punches while fighting off the back is very hard to do in the Heavyweight division. Takam was just expending too much of his energy in fighting Joe off of him.Comment
