Jennings landed a bodyshot. Takam wasnt a huge puncher in his prime let alone way past prime. + Joyce has an epic chin and ate bombs from Dubois. hth.

The reason I said that is because nash out thought that takam (who is a bigger puncher than jennings)
would have Joyce all over the place

As he said jennings very vaguely had Joyce rocked in the first round when in fact he never had Joyce rocked

Joyce took jennings extremely lightly and got caught by the bodyshot being reckless

He attacked takam from the first bell but he made a point of seeing every punch takam threw at him regardless if it landed it wasn't hurting Joyce

I keep forgetting Joyce is 35 sheerly by the number of punches this man can take. Outside of the great George Foreman, Joyce may have the best chin I’ve seen from any 30+ fighter.
Boxing’s Luke Cage but with resistance to gloves instead of bullets, it’s kinda astonishing.

I always thought Joyce would get exposed as he seems like a Saturday morning cartoon robot type, but there is method to his madness. Takam was going down and the stoppage was fair as Takam was rocked back on his heels and his eyes were glazed over and the referee had no idea if he would recover. It's better to stop a fight one punch too early than stop a fight one punch too late.

I counted about 20 punches without the slightest hint of a reply. That's why it was stopped.

Your desire to see Carlos Takam connected to a drip isn't anything to do with the sport of boxing.
