Dear Eddie, if the ticket sales were so poor then turn Deontay Wilder onto your man Anthony Joshua then. Since it's very clear to almost everyone who knows anything about boxing that Fury clearly isn't fighting Deontay Wilder again.

So let's have at it. Wilder vs a Joshua showdown beginning in early 2022. What a great consolation prize that would be for us boxing fans. An undisputed bout with Joshua vs. Wilder.

Fury will just do the same to him and block it due to the contract clause both are tied into it , the difference is Wilder doesn’t have a big ESPN deal to throw away money like that if he breaches it like Fury can .

Unless the contract becomes void through some loopholes I can’t see it happening. Fury would just ride out the contract to play games so a Wilder fight even if Wilder wanted it won’t happen way after he fights Usyk maybe an early 2022 fight is possible ? But Wilder has tied himself to Fury in those contracts . He should have just let the undisputed fight take place then Fury would been cornered to fight AJ and we get a fight at least .

Ultimately it's up to the WBC to sanction a bout between Joshua vs Wilder. if Tyson Fury persists on ducking Deontay Wilder then the WBC may not have any other recourse than to strip Fury of the title and reinstate Deontay Wilder as its new champion or leave the title vacant for a mandatory bout between Whyte vs Wilder.

Fury should be a given a notification of at least sixty days to defend his WBC title against Deontay Wilder or risk getting stripped of it. The arbiter has set a deadline date of September 15; For Fury to honor his binding, contractually obligated agreement for the Wilder rematch.

October would be 20 months since Fury has not defended his new WBC Heavyweight title. Chances are he won't be available for that one either. He is going to come up with another excuse.

The arbiter has already set a September 15th deadline for Fury to honor his rematch clause with Wilder and the WBC sanctioning body ruling would be a total different ruling from the arbitration ruling.

I wish that the two sides would come together and try to reach an out of court settlement by awarding Wilder his WBC title back and monetary compensation for all the losses and damages he incurred as a result of Tyson Fury's contractual breach.

Wilder's only real significant opponent is fury and most of those seats filled in fight 1 and 2 were by Brits.

If UK fans can't travel then of course this fight will only fill 30% of the stadium. Plus the prices are too high. They are gouging. Most people will spend their moneys elsewhere like other sporting events, concerts, vacations ect.. Wilder isn't worth the investment to Americans to spend 500 plus dollars on for a ticket.
It's been dead for a long time.

BUT this celebrity boxing is gaining a lot of popularity.

Fury didn’t breach any contract; how is he going to be awarded his belt back through a court ?

They sold no tickets cause the starting price of those tickets were $505….ridiculous. Ain’t no casual fan paying those crazy prices for the crap seats.

That wouldn’t matter it’s a Force Majeure if he says he has Covid which is how Wilder won that case because of a result of a pandemic which gives extensions on deadlines . That’s the only possible way he won that bc there’s no other explanation for the long process from fight 2 to now .

There would be no WBC ruling because they didn’t order the third fight .
