He’s so transparent too, he tries to act all smooth but anyone with half a brain can see straight through his schtick, deep down he’s jealous he isn’t promoting this fight and any other big fight he criticises whilst producing dross staged in in Daddy’s garden.
Crazy thing is people will actually read this and jump to his defence. It genuinely baffles me how people can’t see through him.
His own ego, thirst for attention and his inability to to keep his mouth shut and just negotiate behind closed doors like a professional has damaged the prospects of many big fights happening. Most notably Wilder-AJ.
of working for the fighters rather than fighters working for the promoters…..as Barry Hearn famously regaled us with his “mr whyte” speech.

Bingo. That’s the Mexican-American fanbase. There is NOTHING and I repeat NOTHING more popular to Mexican-america than a perceived good looking Mexican fighter for the females or a perceived “machismo” fighter for the males. I remember the hoopla for JC Superstar for the ladder and the ODLH for the former. When they actually fought you had males cheering for one and females for the other while they threw their panties (knickers) at DLH. Canelo has a unified fan base of both. There is zero promotion needed if you want to sell tickets in Texas, California, Nevada, etc. Imagine how popular the lad would be if he spoke good English and was fighting regularly on a network that’s accessible to the general sports fan

The fact that Hearn sold over 500k PPVs for Whyte on two occasions has to be one of the biggest promoting accomplishments in itself. The 200k buy rates that Whyte has been doing since then does sound poor, but still compares favourably to anything Fury has done with the exception of the 2nd Wilder fight. And didn’t that fight only do 400-450k buys anyway?
And that is absolute BS about Fury and Wilder taking over the public psyche - are you high?? Fury’s planned UK homecoming against Kabayel was cancelled because his management couldn’t secure funds, and the fact that there was no UK PPV announcement and terrible ticket sales for the third fight with Wilder tells you all you need to know.
The fact is in the UK, AJ is the only fighter that can captivate a paying audience. I’ve seen posters across the pond claiming that it’s easier to build stars in the UK in defence of boxing turning into a fringe sport over there, but the same truth holds here. Taylor, Campbell and other talented UK fighters have found that out, and tbh it’s a huge testament to Hearn that the likes of Whyte and Chisora were on PPV in the first place.

Once again, covering for Fury's antics. The bottom line is Fury either has to man up or move on.

Now he has more of an urgency to get Aj that big pay day before he gets exposed again.
AJ's the cashcow of the division and isn't waiting on those 2 clowns for a payday,he's waiting on fury to take out the trash again so he can try and become undisputed. Unfortunately your king had to try and save face by exercising his rematch for what we already know is going be another mollywhopping!Castilo likes this.

I don’t know what was going on or whatever, but for me last week I was asking “Is BT sport carrying this fight?” Because there was NOTHING about it been on BT sport box office. And to be honest, that was su****ious looking back now.

Seems that it. Wilder screwed himself out of a big payday by not promoting the fight lol
The only thing that could have saved this fights box-office performance is Wilder trying to defend his tard lies and having a bunch of pressure lololol
