I think Hearn is just bitter because fury and wilder are about to have their third matchup and Aj continues to remain on the outside looking in. Hearn believed that They would be begging for an Aj fight and would take much lower percentages to fight him but instead, fury and wilder made their own lane and Aj wound up getting pummeled into submission by a fat 30-1 underdog. Now he has more of an urgency to get Aj that big pay day before he gets exposed again.

Hearn should really learn to mind his own business.

Example #37000 of hearn blowing smoke yet again. Just trying to move attention over to his guy... who BTW will be taking the less risky fight. Even with joshua's shaky chin... Usyk won't be KOing him. And of course hearn just HAD to throw some totally bogus stretch in saying NO tickets sold for Fury/wilder. He may just be speaking about England, but still. Granted, many fans were let down with Fury being forced to fight wilder instead of joshua... but to make the blanket comment 'no tix sold' is just a disingenuous pile of b.s. His type of hyperbole just shows his greed... always trying desperately to drag as much cashish as he can out of the sport... even if it damages the sport in the process. No excuse for that b.s.

            1. Currently, Fury and Wilder aren't fighting. If they were, then you'd know when and where.

            2. Usyk is a great fight. You can't see that? Let's hope it gets finalised.

            3. Who is damaging the sport? Joshua, who continues to defend his belts even if with restricted numbers in the stands, or these two who have now put the WBC belt on hold for two years without any action.

The Fury/wilder fight is delayed because of covid. Why do you not know that by now? Or are you actually dis*****g it? Either way, it's a daft take.
I never said the usyk fight was a joke. I just said joshua has almost no chance of being KOd.
HEARN is damaging the sport because of his wild claims. The End.

Precisely what I was remembering. I’ve never seen a promoter act like that. No one made him treat wilder like refuse. No one made him lowball him and require him to sign with apps and contracts that went in his interest. The truth is when big boxing matches happen, boxing at large wins. It behooves the sport when everyone is doing well.
this guy is just totally unlikeable and I would be willing to commission a phd academic who could do research into how much his promotion and dazn has suffered due to his counter-productive “marketing tactics”….ie being a total prat

The only thing Wilder and Fury have at the moment is a contract to fight with no date or event details.

And they've had that for 18 months without fighting.

You think it happens in October? Like you thought it would happen in November 2020? And July 2021? How many times do you want to be wrong?

Bingo. That’s the Mexican-American fanbase. There is NOTHING and I repeat NOTHING more popular to Mexican-america than a perceived good looking Mexican fighter for the females or a perceived “machismo” fighter for the males. I remember the hoopla for JC Superstar for the ladder and the ODLH for the former. When they actually fought you had males cheering for one and females for the other while they threw their panties (knickers) at DLH. Canelo has a unified fan base of both. There is zero promotion needed if you want to sell tickets in Texas, California, Nevada, etc. Imagine how popular the lad would be if he spoke good English and was fighting regularly on a network that’s accessible to the general sports fan

He’s so transparent too, he tries to act all smooth but anyone with half a brain can see straight through his schtick, deep down he’s jealous he isn’t promoting this fight and any other big fight he criticises whilst producing dross staged in in Daddy’s garden.

Crazy thing is people will actually read this and jump to his defence. It genuinely baffles me how people can’t see through him.

His own ego, thirst for attention and his inability to to keep his mouth shut and just negotiate behind closed doors like a professional has damaged the prospects of many big fights happening. Most notably Wilder-AJ.
